Guys please please PLEASE this is an INDEPENDENTLY produced CD. IE Ado paid for the production of this CD HIMSELF - PLEASE don't download music that we should be PAYING the MATHESON FAMILY for! Go to cdbaby and fork out your hard earned money.... They did and deserve reciprocation from us.

I'm sorry that someone from abroad gave the CD available to download. This is a risk of the profession.... But is not the first artist who has this problem, unfortunately.

:-Xnot saying a word.... course, I could, but it's been a long haul with this one... you can also see it now streamed,... www.letmewatchthis.com/movie-6168-Bathorywww.watch-movies-links.net/movies/bathory/Watch "Bathory" Movie maybe we could satisfy our curiousity and then buy then DVD, someday, when it comes out o DVD,...in 2025 a little sad though, for Juraj Jakubisko. I'm sure he was hoping for more than making hit film, this big risk, and instead taking a huge hit...

On the error occurs, always. I saw several Slovak version. I do not know really why the DVD is not yet on the market. It seems strange to me .. Mr. Jakubisko all missed. I don 't understand.

being able to pirate this DVD free on the internet severely decreases the number of paying DVD buyers. The fact that we can watch this film on the internet in English also radically drops the chances of seeing it in the theaters in the US anyway. The distributors can't easily sell a film to theaters that is already easily downloaded (for FREE) on the internet. That's why when BATHORY was first stolen, it was a big deal. Once you can see a film online, not much point trying to get it into theaters. What audience you might've hoped for has already seen it.
Remember, artists get NOTHING from pirated work. That's why it's called pirating. The companies lose, and that trickles down to the writers, the crew, the actors... As it is artists often get little for legit online airing of their material -- that's why SAG (the international union that protects the rights of Screen Actors), nearly striked for months this year, and why WGA (Writers Guild of America) DID in fact strike for months a year or so ago. It's hard enough to get reimbursed for work legitimately. Stolen work is just a loss.
I'm sure it will eventually creep quietly onto the DVD market with little or no notice or herald. Like Nero did. One day it will just show up at Blockbuster.
