I'm jealous! He's so funny and endearing and I find myself watching "Erect for 30 Years" late at night when I can't sleep. It doesn't put me back to sleep, but at least I'm exhausted and smiling the next day!

So this week I got to see Ewen Bremnar twice, playing the same type of character - over zealous, neurotic computer hacker on the run from baddies in fear of losing his life. I find him to be such a great actor and not that I know a lot about acting, but his timing seems to be really good. I really enjoyed watching him this week and will maybe seek out some of the other movies that he has done. Even though I do have to admit that I have a hard time understanding him sometimes!!!!

Hey Laura...it was in Strike Back. They showed it on Showcase . Was really happy to catch them as I've been crushing on RA! Badly! It was also in Spooks (MI-5 for us here in North America) - Series 8.

I seem to be watching a few things that have Eddie Redmayne in them just lately. The first was the film "Black Death", and now there is the Channel 4 drama "The Pillars of the Earth". They both have plot similarities in that they are set in medieval England, and revolve around religion, witchcraft, greed and politics. Just my cup of tea!

Ahh the joys of Richard Armitage! Am I missing something here? Hans' has never co-starred with Richard Armitage. Well, not to my knowledge at least.

No he hasn't but that is a film I would like to see! Ewen Bremner from Mojo was in Strike Back with Richard Armitage. Slightly off topic but only just.

I've been watching Pillars of the earth too it's really good, thought that eddie looks really young in it much younger than in Tess of the d'urbervilles.

I haven't really noticed this to be honest, although I have noticed that Eddie's hair is looking decidedly more redder, than what it was in Tess of the d'Urbervilles.

Today is Demi Moore's 58th birthday! I wish I could get to her age and be as beautiful as she is!

I know we say just about every British movie has Timothy Spall in it. (He of Beano fame in Still Crazy) but one role I never saw him playing was Winston Churchill. Nevertheless, in the recently released movie "The Kings Speech", he does so, brilliantly. Testimony to his talent, and to the fact that you don't have to be handsome to be successful.
The movie was edited by Tariq Anwar, who worked on Bodywork (and is the father of Gabrielle Anwar (The Tudors though first series)
Today's move - "Fair Game" starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts - turned out to have been co-written, and produced, by Jez Butterworth. He's certainly come a long way since "Christmas" and "Mojo".
One movie I'm interested to see, but seems to be taking its time getting a release here, is "Last Night" which has the unlikely (IMO) pairing , of Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington. Anyone seen it?

I just got to see "The King's Speech" and it was just brilliant. I haven't seen much else in general, though.
