The price has mysteriously risen by 10 American dollars. If I were to purchase the DVD, I would have to pay over 80 American dollars.

So, what DID happen to those copies of Nerone that were on offer for a while there? Methinks it wasn't just that there were no buyers at that price. I think the vendor finally realised that there was in fact no English soundtrack
Has anyone actually bought the Italian or German versions? I'm wondering what the quality is like. I have a theory

I don't know if I just got incredibly lucky, but I managed to find a multi-region Nero DVD in English for £4.99 on eBay - it hasn't arrived yet though. Fingers crossed!

WELL DONE! We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed - as if this one exists, it must have English speaking sisters and brothers floating around!

That'll be most interesting. I've scoured the internet and have found Italian, German, Spanish, Swiss, Polish and Dutch versions but none which claim to have an English track and none at that price. There's even a deluxe German two disc set apparently.
Of course it could be a bootleg copy I guess... Would we care?

Thanks for posting the link I certainly haven't seen that version listed anywhere. It has yet another cover. And Thai subtitles?!?!? WTF? Certainly seems like the genuine article Maybe there's hope for us all yet... ETA I found this Thai site www.amornmovie.com/shop/home/listproduct.php?keyword=NBut it's out of stock. At 220 baht , that's about $AUS7 Wonder if the person you're getting it from bought up all the copies and will release them bit by bit. May be worth contacting the seller to see if they have more. Do I read correctly that they only will sell to UK? Maybe that's why I didn't come across it Was that the ebay.uk site where you saw it?

Yeah, the ebay uk site. But it says they post worldwide... It hasn't arrived yet, so I'll give it a few more days then email the seller - might as well ask if they've got any more for you guys!

No sign of your copy of Nero yet Claire? the Thai site now has copies of "Nero The Obscure face of Power" in stock. But godness knows how you pay for it - it seems they don't take Visa and you have to do some EFt I'm still working on it. Anyone else figured it out? Every other part of the process has English help but not that bit

It arrived about a week ago, but I only managed to watch it last night (I know, I know). Had the option of English or Thai soundtrack, with E/T subtitles... worked OK, except for a 10ish minute bit in part 2 which confused the computer a bit! But I'm generally happy - and the Melanie Thierry bit made me smile - I didn't realise it was her at first, then the penny dropped as the credits rolled.
