Just watched some live stream of the red carpet and didn't see HM. Could have missed him though was making an appetizer for a party tonight for the kids!! They scanned the carpet in between interviews with RDJ, JL, RMcA, GR and Hans Zimmer. (sorry...too lazy to type out everyones names today!)

Well they got a good turn out: Heather Graham, Zara Martin, Gwen Stephani, Lizzy Cundy, as well as cast RDJr, Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Kelly Reilly, Mark Strong (looking shiny headed), Guy Ritchie, and Joel Silver,... but if our boy was their he ducked past the cast photo op with the press. Not a glimpse that I can find, so far.

It's to be expected though isn't it?. Something tells me that even if he were there, he could/would get past the press unnoticed.
Maybe there'll be pics from an afters party. <inserts emoticon of fingers crossed - if she knew how>

and just to narrow down the search -- nothing at Rex, Getty (or PicApp), Reuters, LIFE, FotoGlif, or WireImage. Generally if on camera talent is there they are asked to participate in the cast op in some capacity, but not necessarily non-principals. But who knows! Maybe something will pop up yet -- but it wouldn't be that big a surprise if the ever enigmatic HM passed now would it? The after-party was @number1 Mayfair.

HBO is now running it's "First Look" covering SHERLOCK HOLMES, a 15 minute segment of behind the scenes footage and interviews. HM is in it more than I expected, particularly funny in a segment where RDJr is encouraging to him to "punch me in the stomach... come on punch me in the stomach".
