Finally saw Sherlock Holmes today...all for Hans ofcourse!!! And needless to say he was amazing as always, I hope he'll be in the 2nd SH!! I'm glad to see he's starting to be in more Hollywood American productions, I hope it continues and that he gets bigger roles and more recognition!

Got my millionth i-alert about the fan fiction that is being posted based on the pairing of Mark Strong's "Blackwood" character, and "Lord Coward". Romantically, yes. They've given Coward the first name "Nicholas". They even photo-shopped together some icon imagery of the two of them with the caption "devotion". There are also some very large, very clear Nero images to be seen. Google if interested.

Got my millionth i-alert about the fan fiction I'd say you have to be very careful using Google these days. I think they must have changed the way they operate. It seems there are sites, or businesses, out there which can find out the terms you search for often (let's say "Hans Matheson") and insert it into a list of search terms, often including other actors or famous people. These sites often lead to porn sites or are infected - or they lead you to fear the site's infected and demand you purchase some spyware protection. Ironic huh? Spyware copmpanies using their spyware to infect our computer then demanding money to fix it. Sites with genuine information about Hans will have more detail in their blurb. Be careful out there folks. It's not our job to tell you what's appropriate for you to view. Just alerting you to a trand I've noticed. BTW, website statistics for April have exceeded the site record set in January after SHerlok Holmes. Considering you don't find out Ixas' name until he meets Medusa, that ain't bad. |

good disclaimer -- my i-alerts are mired with those too (as you well know, unfortunately...  ) usually the address seems to say celebpics/hans and a number and the description will be a long list of hansmathesongirlfriend, hansmathesonmusician, hansmathesongay, hansmathesonmarried, and then dribble off into mattisons and other names the links I was referring to came up via a circle of fan-fiction writers on live journal. The writing exercises are kinda interesting though. BUT HEY!! congratulations on the record hits!!! THE DEFINITIVE SOURCE ONLINE -- yessiree!! Not that there was any doubt... |

Bought this last week on DVD but still haven't watched it. Too much building in the basement still (tiling the bathroom this weekend) and not enough time in the day to sit and watch movies...this as I sit and wait for my friend to call to go for an extra long lunch! I did scan through and paused on Hans looking all sinister, had a tea and then got back to work on the basement. Looking forward to actually watching in full. Maybe the scenes I saw with Hans will make sense.

Sherlock Holmes DVD is out today in Australia, so off I went to rent it. (to be watched with fast forward)
It has the Reinventing Sherlock Holmes extra that we've seen already. The on y Hans bit is him doing the punching RDJ bit.
What I want to know is - do other versions have different extras? How about the Blu ray - I didn't see any available - maybe that's not out till later. I believe it has more in the way of extras.
Maybe it's time I bought a Bluray player........
