There is now a website for Sherlock Holmes sherlock-holmes-movie.warnerbros.com/There's not much there - a synopsis, a few pictures (none of Hans) and a much better quality trailer than the ones I posted earlier. It certainly seems a different take of the SHerlock Holmes character and has stirred up a lot of reaction on the IMDb message boards. Seems either you love it or hate it. Some people don't like their own preferences being mucked around with. And it matters not, we won't be watching it for Holmes alone. Who cares, it's outr best chance in ages to see Hans on the big screen. |

These are some great photos Virgil put on the main site in the Sherlock Holmes Gallery!
And I have to wait until the end of January 2010, the last in line.
Maybe it will be like with RockNRolla: the DVD was out before the film was released in my country.

When it comes to Sherlock Holmes....I'm watching the previews and it's making me twitch because that is sure as hell not the books or the movies I remember as a kid and watching them with my mom and it's annoying me a little bit because I used to love the old ones and now Hollywood has gone and turned Holmes into an explosive/magical creature when the reality was, he was old-fashioned book smarts.
That being said...it looks cool and I kinda wanna see it. Not for what Sherlock Holmes was, but for what the movie looks like. And it takes two of the actors I like: Jude Law and Hans. Could do...

Well the nice thing about the "Hollywood" Blockbusters is the hype. There are usually more interviews and promotional items floating about, so maybe we will get a glimpse of HM somewhere in all of this!
I know what I'm doing over Christmas holidays though. A little eye candy on a very cold, snowy day!! Mmmmm! Beats shovelling! Oh yeah...I'm sure I'll enjoy the acting too! ;D

It's going to be a great Christmas present. I think all the money I may get may just go to seeing Sherlock Holmes as many times as I can.
I must admit I've not watched any Sherlock Holmes before, my Uncle and Grandad are big fans and my mum quite likes it but when I showed her the trailer she said it was nothing like the old ones. Suits me, I quite like the slightly more modern twist on it.

I watched the whole thing through and thought oh, no hans then I thought back to the delicious picture on the home page with the smoking gun, and rememberd a smoking gun for half a second in the trailer went back to it and paused it a few times and thought yippeee, I wonder how many of you did the same thing ;D
