Just throwing this out there to see what other folks think. Yesterday I forced my little sister to watch Dr. Zhivago with me and about 20 minutes in she convulsed in laughter and fell off the couch. The reason for all this  ? Apparently Hans is the spitting image of Zac Efron. |

Yup he's pretty yougn but my sister's 12 so she's at the lets be aware of Zac age. And I just realised that the question should clearly be does Zac look like Hans becasue he was here first.
Anyway once she mentioned it I could kind of see it but well it's not that obvious.

Can't say that I see the resemblance.
I thought Zac Efron was somewhere between the age of 18-20.

No, they haven't nothing in commen. Zac Efron is a little boy for young teenager girls as Hans isn't a "boy" anymore and their faces are more than different in my opinion (Zac looks like every "boygroup" boy looks, and Hans have this special face with much recognition value.).

I hate to go back on what I first said but.......  look at Zac Efrons chin and mouth,there is a slight but definate similarity  Iv noticed it twice now but Hans is still the better of the two by a merry mile |

I think that Josh Harnett is more similar than Zac Efron to Hans, but Hans has always something special than the other two!!!!!

I can't see it myself, although I do like Zac Efron to a certain extent, he's attractive, like many other men/boys are. But Hans has a distinctive look, like no one I've ever seen before. There's plenty of threads over on his IMDB page saying he looks like...whoever, but I think there is no one who looks quite like him...who is famous anyway.

I was trying to imagine Zac Efron with a goatee and slightly darker hair, but I still can't see how they'd look anything alike. Zac is the type of 'man' my 14 year old cousin fancies, but probably wouldn't think Hans was good looking if I know her at all. Different ages I suppose.

Well look at all this  so many new fans! I leave for a while and this is what happens huh ;-) I don't think he looks like Zac Efron but that's just me. Hans is older and you can tell, and I actually love that. But each to their own :-) |

Come to think of it I do see a similary between Hans and Goran Visnjic (you know, Kovac from ER, the guy from Practical Magic). Some small similarities. Moreso than with Zac, either way.

I know I said earlier in this thread that I thought Hans had a distinctive look like no one else...but I've kind of changed my mind slightly. I've been watching the older episodes of Waterloo Road with my mum and there's a character in that who I actually think is extremely good looking and my mum said "He looks the spit of Hans Matheson." So, after looking more and more, I could actually see it. I think it's the glorious blue/green eyes and the dark floppy hair. Tom Payne is 26 and I definitely think he's more like Hans than Zac Efron. Also, I took my cousin out the other night and I asked her if she thought Hans looked like Zac and she said the eyes and the hair. But naturally she thought Zac was far better looking and Hans well just wasn't.  |
