In my country was this book banned... And now it is pretty much unavailable. I think Zhivago’s novel is not available in Spanish neither, it is a shame So you read a book in English. I strongly hope that you are healthy and don't have the pig flu, Jonathan.

Got THE prettiest most beautiful edition of this book at Watterstone yesterday. It is hardback, all in white with really inreicate silver glittery snowflakes. It is actually beautiful!
I know that sounds superficial while everyone is discussing the content of the book but its so pretty it dazzled me lol

For anyone who doesn’t have time to read the full version of Dr Zhivago, there’s a penguin readers graded level 5 version which is shorter and less than 100 pages long which is available on amazon but may also be available in your local library.

The audiobook of the whole original version of Dr Zhivago is now available on YouTube and is free to listen to. It’s divided into 2 parts. It’s good for anyone who doesn’t have time or doesn’t want to read the book. You can just listen to it in the background whenever you have time.

The ‘Dr Zhivago Study Questions’ in the sparknotes.com website is brilliant for a bit more of a simple understanding of the story and characters, as is the ‘Dr Zhivago characters’ section.

There is now a short YouTube clip available which shows you around Boris Pasternak’s last home and even the room and desk in which he wrote Dr Zhivago. It’s a large house set in a snowy Russian mountain villiage. It reminds you so much of the scenery in DZ.
