OK, so in doing my periodic search to see if Hans Matheson has not, in fact, moved to Mars or joined the British secret police, I found a site regarding a June 2010 folk festival in the UK where his father was performing. Now, technically, his dad could have performed seven months ago even if Hans was a resident of Mars or one of the British secret police. But still, I will grasp at what straws I can. ;D Sorry I didn't keep the link...I was of two minds whether I should post about this, and I didn't bookmark it.  |

Well, we got no alerts on Ado performing publicly, or we would have announced it with a link to ticket sales  , but he does work solo as well as with his son on backup. Either way, we have no news just now. But just because no production is announced does not mean the possibility of auditions and callbacks are not happening, music not written, or who knows what. Hans has mentioned writing and music in a couple different interviews, and he hasn't worked in London theater for years, (well, not at least part of a running show) and making a transition like that would be a time consuming endeavor. Or he's joined an Ashram... no telling. Two big Hollywood studios films in a row also may have afforded him some time to cultivate his life away from performance. Though, that secret police idea could fuel the imagination... |
