Most of the Hans-related Zhivago caps and behind the scenes stuff is at my other site Hans Matheson - The Zhivago Galleries - a hangover from the old days when we outgrew the original Geocities site. Somehow I never got around to transferring all the files the the present site. From the same Walking in Daydreams site comes this picture from the "Bridget Jones Diary" premiere. Those of you who've seen the interviews on the "Doctor Zhivago" DVD may recall producer Andy Harries mentioning that he'd met Keira Knightley at the premiere of BJD and been impressed with her. Now see why! walkingindaydreams.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=459&pos=2She was just sixteen at the time.

Is there any way of getting all those Hans pictures from the photo shoot without the watermark? *sighs* probably not

I think you CAN if you register - you just can't use them (legally and ethically) without paying for them. The registration process is pretty comprehensive and intimidating. . But there seems no reason you can't assemble a portfolio for 'personal use" By checking this box, I am attaching my electronic signature to and agreeing to the Site Usage Agreement for the Photoshot Web site and services, and to the Photoshot Privacy Policy. I understand that if I do not agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, I should not check this box, discontinue submission of my personal information, and refrain from using the Photoshot Web site and service. By registering on the Photoshot Web site, you will automatically be added to our mailing list for e-mail promotions and newsletters. You may unsubscribe at any time. So seemingly you can grab the pics 'for private use' and then unsubscribe later. Want to try?

I registered but there is still the big © watermark on them. It says that if you register the watermarks will go away but the big one is still there

Some of these are just beautiful, others well...interesting color choices...yellow-green shirt, over-sized belt? But the ones with the grey shirt and the tapestry behind him and the violin on the wall...could it be his real bedroom? Or a photographer's idea of it? We (or at least the vast majority of us) will never know

We (or at least the vast majority of us) will never know That could very well be his bedroom, even his flat in the other pictures as well. He lives in a Victorian flat, doesn't he? (Or at least he did). If you look at the walls behind him you see very typical Victorian woodwork on the doors and walls. Even if it isn't his place those photos were taken in an old (probably Victorian) flat!

You call that the motherlode? THIS is the motherlode! Why have I never stumbled on these? (You may have to do a search to see all the pics - from the Sven Arnstein shoot, March 2005 at www.photoshot.com. And you know, just earlier today I was thinking "Hans, would it be that bad to do a photoshoot sometime?" Actually maybe it was ARGH! The internet hates me. I keep getting a 503 Service unavailable error every time I try to click the links or enter via Google!

Bummer! A couple of times the link didn't work for me which is why I added the www.photoshot.com url as well. Maybe copy and paste that and do a search. That page is probably getting lots of hits all of a sudden Interesting shoot. It definitely looks "real". Hans is no male model that's for sure. No evidence of hairdressers, makeup artists and stylists hovering and zhoozhing the designer wardrobe; just your average guy( albeit a goodlooking one) being made to have his photo taken. But the ones with the grey shirt and the tapestry behind him and the violin on the wall...could it be his real bedroom? Or a photographer's idea of it? I wondered that too. In one pic you can see the actual doona inside the cover so it looks like it's someone's real bed. And how much does he look like Cillian Murphy in a couple of those pics? I registered but there is still the big © watermark on them. It says that if you register the watermarks will go away but the big one is still there I looked around elsewhere on the Photoshot site and many of the pictures don't even have that big C on them - that must be something the photographer has placed there digitally. Photoshot probably only remove their logo watermark if you register. The original is probably larger too. Anyway, it's all about the acting of course, isn't it?

Of course, Hans' work is what's important for me - not drooling over pics like a little fangirl, but he's just so flippin' gorgeous that it's hard not to want to see more pics of him

I'm just wondering what the process was like, as I'm leery of putting personal RL information into things on the net. Those photos are lovely, I do like the grey jumper and jeans ones the best. Some of the other ones he looks a little uncomfortable, but still, he is a lovely lad. Now for 'Bathory' promos to start coming out and it's all good!

I think I'm right in saying that this session was probably for his headshots/press package/promotionals. Not every shot in ANY photo shoot is going to be marketable, that's why they take so many.
I already nailed what I would choose for his headshot if my opinion counted -- anyone else???

but reply quickly -- I'm out of town again in a week!!!
I'm thinking the photographer liked the b&w she chose for her site, but his nose is a bit out of focus. His agent and he decided on what they wanted -- curious which one?
