O.K. Gigi, I hope I am in the right place!
Here goes...!
The day was long As she toiled Singing a song as She coiled Her red/gold hair upon her crown (She would rather leave it down) The river breeze Cools her tawny skin Not long 'til the winter freeze Leaves are falling One by one She hears the calling Of summers long gone And the sweet ache Of love so true The tragic mistake Of wanting you Haunts her days And keeps her awake She says She can't shake How you make Her feel So beautiful, So real, All alone Throughout the years Her bluish green eyes shine With unshed tears Hoping you could see Beyond her fears And set her free To grow, To bloom, Inside your heart A secret room Where you and she'd go Never to part To someday know Your love...
