Yes Gg, that's the whole CD up now. It's not a problem :-) Managed to get hold of the CD, was second hand and cost a fair bit but it was worth it, it's so difficult to get hold of.

Firstly, thank you Lynette for posting the youtube vids of the soundtrack. I think the music for Han's Zhivago is amazing! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy at some point.
Now for the film. Being somebody that has seen both Han's and Omar's portrayal of Zhivago, I would have to say that I definately prefer Han's version. The emotional content is, in my opinion, much more powerful and because of this, it is so much easier to connect with the characters (Yury, Lara & Tonya).
Whilst I don't disagree that Learn's version is possibly one of the greatest films ever, it doesn't capture the essence of the characters. At least not in the way that I would have liked it too. So thank god I have the dvd of Han's Zhivago!

Laura, May I ask where you bought your Doctor Zhivago CD from? I have looked everywhere that I can think of with no luck. I never realised that it would be so difficult to get hold of a copy!

When Dr Z originally aired I was able to purchase the soundtrack thru PBS in the US as well as download the tracks - thru iTunes as I remember. .99USD per track. However, if it is no longer available WELL that what the MathesonMafia is for!

Cat, I purchased my copy of the CD from amazon.co.uk I think there are still two or three available on there but the prices are rather over the top in my opinion. If you have a look on there and you find it is too expensive then feel free to send me a personal message and we'll see if I can get a copy to you. I've just had a look at the Amazon website now and it seems they've sold them. Like I said, if you want to send me a personal message, I'm sure I'll be able to get a copy of the CD to you.

You know you can also download youtube clips to realplayer. Really? Ok, now that's something I wasn't aware of. I'll have to look into this when I have more time. Thanks Gg! As for looking on iTunes for the DZ soundtrack, yeah...been there tried that. (with no luck)...

I've saw that CD on Amazon the other day. And no, I don't suppose it will be listed on there for long!
