Yes the location of the lighthouse, crosses and ruins were all in 2 minute of each other on a small WINDY island. The church was about an hours drive away from there.
It was good fun, but it felt strange to look through the windows of the lighthouse.

Dear caz, I was really envy of you watching your videos. Beautiful place with the same wind - just like in the film, right? No sign of the horses and Angus' grave I bet...

Caz, with that strong wind I immediately thought, you surely must have gotten seasick on the ferry, but when I looked up Llanddwyn Island on Google Maps I realized it's not a real island, but a "tidal island" ! Luckily for you. Did you walk there?

It was a beautiful place, very sunny but very windy! No sign of any horses and at the graveyard I did the same walk as Demi but no gravestone for Angus lol.

Luckily for you. Did you walk there? We drove to Wales, there was a car park right near the beach and then we had to walk along the beach in which Hans and Demi were riding the horse. As soon as you enter the beach you can see the lighthouse in the distance. If you ever get the chance to go it's well worth a visit. I'm going back next year!

I saw tonight for the first time "Half Light" in the original version. I was surprised that there Hans speaks very quietly. I do not know where he speaks with a Scottish accent? I think he was equally as ever. No difference ..

Hans speaks with a Scottish accent for the majority of the film. He speaks in his usual English accent (though, a far more menacing tone of voice, as befits Patrick) in the scene in the train station but that is it!

I always thought that he speaks a little differently than typical Englishman. However, in the scene he spoke very quietly to my taste. Our dubbing is more emphatic, for I was surprised.

I can still remember, that I read somewhere in an interview in year 2002, that Hans has no indication on the Scottish accent ...

Finally saw Half Light!!! Definitely gave me an I am Dina vibe!!! Gosh he's so gorgeous, ughh!!!
My favorite scene: When he and Demi take a picture on timer, and the way he prepares and smiles for the camera, made me swoon!! because it was as if he wasn't an actor for a second, and that he was a fan taking a picture with Demi Moore lol!! Gosh I love that smile and the way his eyes light up...
Another favorite scene was when they're both of the bed and he gives her the carved boat, to see him in a simple tshirt like that, gosh so hot, and so RARE!!! When's the last time we saw Hans in a simple tshirt like that??? seriously! It really gave me this image of Hans in real life...lounging around, in bed, (giddy)
Would've loved the traditional Hans lovescene with more skin though lol (maybe I'm just so spoiled and used to him baring everything in Canone, Zhivago, Dina, etc...)

I agree, although it is not his best role. I may be a great critic, but I thought that Demi is too old for him ...
