I'm afraid CN is not available on video or DVD through any retail outlet anywhere There are however some taped off the TV copies circulating. Start sucking up or ask nicely in the Matheson Mafia thread.

I have a copy of 'Comfortably Numb' on VHS that I taped off TV when it was first aired. As someone else pointed out, because this was a film made for British Television, it will sadly never get a DVD release making it incredibly rare. I'd be prepared to do some VHS copies for members of the forum within the United Kingdom for a modest price to cover the cost of a tape, the postage and my time and trouble. I just watched Comfortably Numb... and I am absolutely in love with it! OMG I was just blown away (and not just by the intimate details ) - the acting is brilliant, and the film is just so raw and fascinating. Films like Comfortably Numb are my very reason for loving films in general - it's just shameless humanity at its best and worst. I loved every bit of it.

Hi again everyone. Since my last post in December of last year i've had lots of people e-mailing me about purchasing VHS copies of 'comfortably numb'. The copies are available to everybody wherever in the world you happen to be but please remember that I am only able to do VHS (PAL) copies of the film. If you live in another part of the world other than the U.K you may have a different video format and therefore will need to get the tape I send transferred to the format of your choice. This isn't difficult to do nowadays though.

Maybe some of the people i've sent tapes out to could come back on here and let the rest of the group know that i'm a genuine, trustworthy and reliable person to deal with?

I look forward to hearing from more Hans Matheson fans in the near future and hopefully not just because they want to catch a wee glimpse of his winkle ;0)
