In England, people are obviously hidebound! ;D

I don't recall England being quite that shocked, at the time... "hidebound" seems a bit harsh. Conservative surely, I'd hate to generalize about a whole country! Kelly was the TRAINSPOTTING schoolgirl -- now that I remember getting some throat clearing about! And at least 2 if not 4 careers made for it!

Therefore, I used the word "hidebound". Sure, the actors from the United Kingdom belongs to the world leaders!

Try here! www.amazon.co.uk/Stella-Does-Tricks-Kelly-MacDonald/dp/B000AMSSKCThis looks like the English version - therefore I'm not sure if it has subtitles. That's the advantage of the French version, the subtitles, because Stella's accent is sometimes difficult to understand - for me anyway. But part of the charm of the film anyway. I still think it's one of the better performances - especially the scene at the end that's now in Brooke's signature - about never promising (and I never promise) And the swimming pool is lovely too

Ah now, that would be telling - and it's open to debate and interpretation as to what happens
But it actually ends with a monologue from Stella.
Eddie is last seen sleeping (?) after he has begged Stella for one more chance.
"I'm no good without you, Stell"
(I certainly wouldn't after what he did, no matter how cute he was)

I just knew that Hans was sleeping at the end .. But I did not know what they say.

Oh yes, he was cute. This is how we last see Eddie, "flat out asleep" (laura) like in so many of his scenes in STELLA.
