Wow you live where he shot the film .... O my God! You could see it ... what a pity! if you are English certainly can you review it ... You know where lives now? He no longer lives in Scotland? I made that case in two films, has a tattoo in his right arm, and he has a tattoo ... wow! This afternoon is the second episode ... I can not wait to see it!

Mmmm, well hes pretty hot too, lol (But he looks a bit like some one at college so i feel i cant fancy him ) No, really he did a good job, lots of enthusiasm. I think hans chose the correct character tho, he made a good villan in the show, it gives you shivers down the spine when you see him in the second epi, Mmm, that saddened evil look (Id be like putty in his hands ) Lydia xxxx

I saw Hans in the 1st episode and i think he´s the perfect Alec, i saw the other versions of Tess of d´urbervilles 1979 and 1998 and i´m sure this version is the best so far and only i´ve seen one episode but compared to the others versions this is a masterpiece. I´ve not seen yet to Eddie Redmayne,i think he played a role in the movie The other boleyn girl with Scarlett Johanson ( great movie also), but now i´m not sure, but i prefer Hans obviously

Eddie has done Savage Garden with Julian Moore, she is wonderfull, the film is very fantastic, but he did not tell me much ... but he is suited to the role. Is certainly much better Hans! Thanks to "Emule" I managed to download the second episode, I hope to see the third because Hans dressed in black and with his dark eyes makes me crazy!

Hehe, yeah. Looking at the behind the scenes shot he's wearing like a black suit with a white shirt and a little tie thing. Growlll ;D He also looks a little roughed up which is nice!

I should really buy the book, but i have been reading the post Zita made. It says Alec should have a moustache with two curly points, i dont think that would really suit hans. Lol Lydia xxxx

Yeah, i saw that preview on the BBC website. I love the way that review says: "Enter - and my but he did, the bastard - Alec d'Urberville, played with great floppy sneers and just the right amount of ham by Hans Matheson. To save time for those who haven't read the book, Matheson tells you within five seconds of his preening, lecherous, waistcoated first swagger around Tess, that he is a Bad 'Un. To dispel lingering doubts, the randy privileged young c0ckpocket is then shown being awful to his mum" Haha, just shows how well he managed to pull off the part. Great Actor! Lydia xxx
