I watched Tess last night and it was absolutly magnificent! First of all, Hans looked wonderfull and it was great seeing him play the bad guy for once. He walked around smoking thick cigares en talking aristocratic and he looked stunning! It's great to see what he is doing with the caracter of Alec; he can switch very fast between the seductive, friendly gentleman and the guy who can't keep his hands of Tess and will rape her.
Gemma did a great job too, she was very good as the naive country girl who has no idea how the world works. She was really moving.
The scenery was beautiful! The castle of Alec and his mother, the green fields, the sea on the background,... And when you put Hans in the middle of it, it was just perfect.
Actually, if I find out how to do it, I can tape the next 3 episodes too=D
Can't wait to see the next episodes!!

Those ratings are really great news!! I can't say a thing about the reviews until I actually get to see it -- November first week is what I'm being promised from Amazon.uk.

O no, it is not right! I can not even see it on the Internet ... that nerves ... I want to see Hans as a bad boy! As envy you, I can not understand why I do not see the bbc on the Internet. There is written only UK......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy it here or numerous other places from 27th October. In the meantime..... There's Youtube  Don't want to direct link in case they follow the trail and delete it or block me or something, but search Tess then selected "uploaded recently" and voila. In 6 parts |

I watched him in Tess, he´s really awesome in the role of Alec,but the voice of Gemma is a little annoying or silly, i don´t like it, but this show is amazing, i can´t wait for watch the other episodes |

What strange on youtube there are not more videos of Tess, why?
Just as well that I have saved the video on my computer ... We hope that someone will put the other three episodes on youtube ... please!!

the youtube account which uploaded the first episode of Tess was deleted yesterday, i suppose because of problems with the copyright.I hope to watch the next episodes in youtube if somebody put them again I´ll be very grateful because i don´t have BBC |

Well of course it is a breach of the terms of You tube to post copyrighted material. Hans Matheson Online encourages the legal use and purchase of copyrighted materials ie Buy the DVD. This ensures that Hans receives his fair share of the income derived from the producing of television programs, videos, DVD movies, music whatever. That being said, it's often the only way many of Hans fans from far flung places get to see anything at all! I doubt that person will be able to upload ep 2-4 but no doubt someone will. And the BBC will be even more vigilant this time so you'd have to check soon and often, after the show airs. Meanwhile, the first batch of caps from Episode One are online at Hans Matheson Online with heaps to follow, as soon as I can see straight, and move my wrist and get home from work etc, Thanks to Gemma Arterton Online once again. The picture quality is excellent - Enjoy. |

Tomorrow is the second episode, I can not wait to see you! Obviously I hope that someone will put on youtube .... because the site of the BBC in Italy you can not see! UFF!....

If i'd know really how hot Hans was, i would have paid him a visit on set. I live about 5 mins from orchardleigh where the outside sets were filmed - and i used to ride round there all the time with my horse! Its weird tho, when i first watched episode 1, i couldn't bear looking at him cos' his character made me squirm  But now i have just fallen in love  I must have watched epi 1 about 20 times! Does anyone know if he shows up much in episode 2? Darn, i could have met him. Lydia xxx |
