Maryam d'Abo who played Amalia in Doctor Zhivago was in Dorian Gray today...well she's not just in the film today but you know what I mean. I was sitting there trying to figure out where I'd seen her face before and then of course it hit me like a ten tonne truck.

I am so excited that Celia Imrie is coming to Liverpool for just two nights to star in a play at a really small personal theatre and I have a ticket! I can't wait to see her in a stage production rather than a TV show/film.

Just got back from seeing the play Celia was in. Waited to meet her and she actually remembered me from over a year ago. She was so lovely and I even managed to get two photographs.

Good for you! Other Hans co-stars to tread the boards in the near future include the very busy Gemma Arterton and Keira Knightley. Gemma will soon go into rehearsals for director Jamie Lloyd with fellow Tamara Drewe star Tamsin Greig - and Rupert Friend and Harry Lloyd - in the wicked comedy The Little Dog Laughed, by Douglas Carter Beane. It begins preview performances at the Garrick Theatre on January 8. Keira's star power saw the movie take a million pounds in sales within days of her casting being announced More detailsKeira plays a celebrity actress.

Just went through this thread (to make sure I'm not repeating something that's been said already) and couldn't help noticing Richard Armitage being mentioned a couple of times ;D . Back to the subject! Just saw a movie called "Dot the I" with Tom Hardy in it. It's one of those supposed-to-be confusing movies when you're supposed-to-be super surprised at the end... Not bad!

Has anyone seen The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time? I'm quite tempted to go & see this as Gemma Arterton is in it. Not to mention Jake Gyllenhaal aswell.

It's Disney's big blockbuster for the year
Worldwide release is not until end of May.
I'd say too early even for industry insiders and preview audiences to have had alook at anything but a very rough cut.
Now, surely COTT is at the preview stage by now. I guess we will start hearing some feedback about that soon.
