Whilst on the subject of Celia Imrie, Laura, did you see her on ITV last night? She was in a new series called Kingdom. There was also an Angus Imrie in the cast list aswell.

I didn't see it Cat but she was in the last series of it as well I think. Angus is her son to actor Benjamin Whitrow. Did you enjoy it?

I didn't actually see it either. I just saw Celia's name in the cast list when I was browsing my tv guide mag!

I hadn't realised how much Celia had done either until a while ago. In fact the only reason I watched Doctor Zhivago was because I saw her name come up...thank goodness it did!  I watch because play the main role Hans.. |

If anyone gets a chance go and see "AWAY WITH ME" just a radiant performance by Carmen Ejogo of "Tube Tales-Steal Away" in a really wonderful film about real life, with a sprinkling of characters. It's down to earth without being unremarkable and the performances genuine across the board. It's about, how refreshing is this, a couple past that "the drama of falling in love stage" and firmly in the -- WOW you are so not perfect but I'm choosing to share my life with you -- stage. Carmen plays this beautiful woman who's pregnant sister comes to visit her. WHAT a beautiful woman she is and makes much of just a few scenes -- she creates family for the lead and makes a lovely example of how family can survive tradegy with love and loss and beauty and hope.
Did I mention that it's beautiful?

It's playing in art house cinemas here. It premiered in the UK at the Edinburgh Film Festival and will get theaters in September. June/July thru October openings in Germany, Czech Republic, to Australia.
