Thank you very much Virgil.
Canone Inverso is of producer Italian. Therefore, I think that it was not launched here nor in the U.S.A. No Italian site has this film in format DVD (0)? I have also interest in I Am Dina. This film was launched in Portugal, however, also it is area 2. Therefore he is not compatible here.

Beatriz, have you considered getting a universal DVD player? The sad, (or wonderful, depending on how you look at it) fact is that it's impossible at this point, to find Hans' movies that are compatible with every region. It's what some of us did. If you do your research, it's possible to find them very inexpensively.

Beatriz, have you considered getting a universal DVD player? The sad, (or wonderful, depending on how you look at it) fact is that it's impossible at this point, to find Hans' movies that are compatible with every region. It's what some of us did. If you do your research, it's possible to find them very inexpensively. Dear JenoWhatIMean, Still doesn't exist compatible DVD Players for all areas, but, exist the DVD Movies. These DVD are classified as "ALL AREAS", this wants to say that the types of DVD (movies) are compatible for all DVD players. Exists the possibility "to unlock" the DVD player for all areas. It is just to take to the assistance technique of the DVD player and to ask for the technician unlocks the DVD player to show DVD movies for all areas. However, I want most convenient and practical for me. I think that it is more easy to buy a film in format DVD for all areas. I already saw a person of the Korea, that was selling the film Canone Inverso, in format DVD compatible for all areas, in the site "Ebay". However, this film already was selling. This situation already is clarified by Virgil in the message above.

DVDs are never released as "all region" or "region 0".
All DVDs must be classified by Regions because of International Copyright Laws.
Region-Free DVD Players exist everywhere.
People who sell region-free dvds are illegaly selling copies of films.
People record a DVD onto a computer, format the movie for all regions, ILLEGALLY record the film back onto disc, and ILLEGALLY sell it.
I purchased a region-free player for under $60, or 150 Brazil Reais. It's a very small price to pay considering you can watch any movie from any country.

Oh, I didn't knew really that already existed DVD players configured to show all movies in format DVD, thank you! You said: "Region-Free DVD Players exist everywhere", perhaps I still have not found because I live in Brazil, c'est la vie
I have the film "Dune", in format DVD that behind the cover is classified as "ALL AREAS", and guarantee that is not copy much less "pirate". Also I saw in ebay, for sale the film "Kinski-Paganini" in format DVD for all the regions, this DVD was compatible with all the DVD players. And was not copy or "pirate". I also have the film 21 Grams in format DVD, formatted for regions 1 and 4, and also it is not copy or pirate. I know that exists films in format DVD that are compatible for all the regions, ok? Please, informe yourself before giving a reply to me.

Inform myself before replying?
I'm in the business of preventing those ebay sellers from selling illegal DVDs. I'm in the business of making and testing the DVD technology that you use in your home.
I responded because you were rude to Jeno. Now you're being rude to me.
Drop your attitude and do what EVERYONE here has done: use Google to find his films, ask certain people here to make you region-free films, and go to your local video store and ask them to order the films for you.

ladies!
SWEETIES!
Ease up on each other! The whole point of Hans Mafia is to help each other. Some of us are going to be informed and DVD/internet/computer/copyright laws literate, and some aren't; and some just don't care so long as they manage to get to see the performances we all love so well, and are such a challenge to find. It's really not a competition here guys. Nobody has to do anything they are uncomfortable doing.
And some times people are going to vent about the frustrations of finding his stuff and what sounds like infuriation towards each other, is just -- battle fatigue.
We've got language barriers, expertise, and age differences at work here. This board is read by girls as young as 14 and well into later decades, men of all ages, and family members of our hero. We cover the globe. I don't think criticism of each other is going to get anybody anywhere.
His appeal runs the whole spectrum of many different rainbows. Mutual respect and patience, I think, is, in the end, what keeps us getting each other the stuff we want, and more importantly, keeps this a friendly place for discussion where anyone can come.
If someone doesn't understand the issues of pirating, or English for that matter (I'm not sure anybody meant to be rude to each other, perhaps a translation issue), we can inform each other without being unfriendly about it. If a post is going to get someone in trouble, particularly out of ignorance, email your friendly neighborhood webmistress and we'll let them know, and keep them safe, by deleting it.
We can help each other, solve our misinformation problems, and still maintain tolerance for each other. And above all, share our thoughts, and whatever else we are willing, respectfully. I'd like to think nobody needs to be on their guard -- aside from just maintaining basic human respect, towards Hans, his family (let's just pretend his grandmother reads this), and anyone who could post here. (whether they be a naive 14 year old girl from Germany or a 45 year old chain smoking homosexual man from Hong Kong).
Can't we all just get along?
Tales wagging!!! Happy happy.

Thing is, the all region players (here anyway) are not necessarily labelled as such. You may not know inless you ask - or even then.
Anyway, question answered, topic closed
