hello everybody, i watched Doctor Zhivago and i cried all the way through it but i hear that he's done other lead roles. If any 1 can help me get stuff like comfortably numb or Nerone or I am Dina it would be great. i noe he doesn't hve a lead in I am Dina, it looks cool. Also if there are any aussies out there can anybody tell me what's available around aust or closer, around sydney? it would be greatly appreciated    |

JB HiFi or EzyDvd should have 'Still Crazy,' 'Mists of Avalon,' 'Deathwatch,' and 'Les Miserables,' as well as 'Dr Zhivago.'

There's a copy of "I Am Dina" available at ebay at the moment. Also plenty of copies of "Nero" at quite low prices. You can get "Nero" from any online sellers. If you pay with credit card they do the currency conversion for you. Of course you need a multiregion DVD player or a computer DVD player ( you usually get about 5 chances to change region before it freezes on one region- and I believe there are hacks to overcome that) Good luck. |

It's so hard to say: his performances in Mists of Avalon, Still Crazy and Les Miserables are all favorites of mine, even though the parts are smaller than Zhivago. His part in Deathwatch is even smaller though. Might want to leave that till you've seen some other ones.
I guess the question is, would you like to see him as a deliciously insane villain (Mists), a young sexy rock and roll quitarist (SC) or the passionate, idealist revolutionary and first love of Claire Danes? (LM)

I kind of think working through the performances chronilogically makes some sense. The character progression is kind of interesting AND you can see how he's grown as a performer.

That same spirit is what drew me to these boards oh my God FOUR years ago?! I was struck by how people were actually having thoughtful discussions rather than sitting around gushing "he's so cute" or getting catty or snobby with each other...it's funny, for the longest time we had no real Hans interviews to read, so we would speculate...he seems like such a good, nice, down to earth person...but maybe, in real life he's a total jerk! How do we really know? After all he's an actor...but I think now we all feel pretty secure (without actually having met him) that he really is a pretty special person, and I think he attracts fans who are nice as well...

he is the most special person, and u're right about the spirit of the board and it's really rare that you come across a board about a hot guy and you actually discuss his work not his personal life. i mean, hanson's one of my favorite bands but i refuse to go on theis boards because all eveyobdy discusses is what's wrong or why they hate their wives and girlfriends and all that. It gets so annoying.
What's great is not only hans amazing and smart and totally georgous so are his fans!!!

I still need your help, as I wrote the first I live here in Italy and many films by Hans there are ... I can not find Comfortably Numb, Mojo, Bodywork and Doctor Zhivago, and of course not ever find Tess of the D'Urbervilles .... I ask you, I know you say how can I find them?
