If you haven't heard of this already you can download it by visiting here: www.videolan.org/Yeah, I can send you the naughty screenshots for your site, including a few frontal if you like where you see 'little hans' through the shower curtain? hehe  However, I don't want to be inundated with PM's from people asking me for screenshots of Hans completely naked! |

I too have a degree in film I never actually used it, but I'd like to discuss films with you some time if you have a few moments. Hugo, babe,... no hard feelings at all! please... I didn't get to see your screen shots actually, Virg was on call that night (well her day is my night) but she's far more emotionally mature than I am so I trust her judgment...  Nothing he has done has ever been offensive to me, but I can understand how something seemingly objectified in a still image can be mis-representative of the intention of the film and performance. Afterall, the shower scene was about a telling moment of masculine dysfunction, not to completely give anything away. Seems an irony to look googlie-eyed at that kind of moment. Had that been the screencap posted. But that's not really the issue. I think Virg is just playing it safe! I can't imagine there are many male actors that have nudity clauses that concern upperbody exposure! But again, I digress. The fact that Virgil doesn't have broadband should really increase our admiration of her maintenance of this site, though, knowing it is more time-consuming for her than for those of us lucky enough to have broadband! A goddess -- I reiterate! But as I recall, when I made my first inquiry to be sure you weren't gouging our forum members, your price seemed reasonable to me as to postage/handling and basic materials. Ah righto. Yeah, I've got VLC, I just tend not to use it for capping, I use...what is it that I use...Power DVD. Which I love muchly. hahaha, I hadn't seen the ones you posted, so I wasn't sure. I was, ah, looking for clarity of images in the name of aesthetics. Yes. That's it. ;D Just call me a student of Mathesonics. I confess all my degree has really gotten me is the ability to wax eloquently about film. And make 16mm movies, which isn't really in demand nowadays! I surely shall drop you a note. |

Well, thanks for defending me, Gigi. I do actually have broadband myself. But be aware< Richard, that for many not in the large metropolises of North America and Europe, broadband is not universally available at any price. I'm sorry if you are offended at my attempts at 'censorship'. Believe it or not, they were merely the last pics to download and I thought the pictures that still exist were more than sufficient to prove the quality of your tape, which was the stated intention of your post. And, no need to download the pics myself. I've had my own copy of the programme since within a few weeks of the original airing in January 2004 - from which I have made screen caps and donated copies to many members over the years. I do also have to be mindful of the terms of agreement of the host of this board, Proboards, and the fact that some visitors here are in fact minors ( and Hans' female relatives But no hard feeling eh? |
