No shame necessary! tell us a bit about who you are and we can more easily guess what you'd like!
Still Crazy, I think is a must for everyone, not because his part was so large, but because he makes the most of his moments and it is just an endearing film with a great cast, great music, and a lot of humor!
Les Mis use to be the film that brought people here, but now it seems Dr Zhivago is just as likely.
Canone Inverso was the Italian bait for a while, but then Nero aired there and usurped it!
Bathory brought in the Czech Republic, although, he had filmed on location in the Czech Republic far earlier with Les Mis, Mists, Canone, Death Watch, and of course, Dr Zhivago. I might be forgetting a few. Prague has great film crews - the Vancouver of the EU!
HALF LIGHT has attracted some devotees of both Romance and Horror (maybe suspense is a better description) beautiful Welsh scenery and a sweeping soundtrack.
Course, if you want to start with strictly British Film - there are plenty to chose from and will probably be easy to find...start with Anna Marie DUff as the VIRGIN QUEEN, maybe, to be strictly historical about it...
any problems finding the films you want to see, well, you've come to the right place to find some direction!
What kind of film do you like???

In 2006 during the filming of Bathory, he was with Anna Friel as a guest at the International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary.

And we have the pictures to prove it! (Sorry, we can get enthusiastic... and just a little overwhelming maybe)
But FIRST tell us about YOU and what you like!

Hello I am a newbie. I first saw Hans in Half Light and instently was drawn of course to his good looks. Upon further research I then became enamered by his acting ability and the collaberation of music between him and his father. I would have to say my favorite film so far was The Virgin Queen. I am very much looking forward to watching Bathory but am finding it difficult to get here in the US. Any ideas?

Hi my name is Sarah and im from Dublin. I have to admit I only discovered Hans Matheson quite recently, though I had seen him in previous things like the Tudors, it was only through watching Half Light for the first time last week that I realised how great he is! SUCH a shame that he has practically vanished off the face of the earth... Heres hoping that he makes an appearance soon but untill then im happy to talk to anyone who shares my attraction to him! xxxx
