Hi All! My name is Vera and I am the newbie. This is my first time participating in a forum but what better place than this. I am a new HM fan. Just discovered him a couple of weeks ago in Dr. Z. and have almost seen all of his movies since. Now I can’t get him out of my head. I am just here to read what everyone else has to say and get my Hans fix everyday. WELCOME VERA!

Hello Everyone. I'm Celtic Archer and I'm from England. Been a Hans fan for about 5 years now. First saw him in Halflight and thought he was a good actor (and good looking), then saw him in Doctor Zhivago and realised what a GREAT actor he was. Have now seen most of his films but still need to see Comfortably Numb. I cannot find the DVD anywhere. Anyhoo that's me

Hi, my name is Daisy. I have been a Hans fan since, well forever it seems. Every once in a while I just have to see him because of the great energy he radiates off on screen... even if he does seem to die tragically most of the time. I first saw him in Bramwell. I was sixteen and bored and wanting to kill some time before going shopping I had turned on the TV. There he was, a woman at first, then a man with gorgeous long hair and this intensity that had me gripped. My parents yelled they were ready to go into town and I stalled them with lame excuses. I had to see the end. Unfortunately I didn't find out who he was, there was no title role, I had to go, and internet was still a new thing in our house. IMDB I had never heard of... I'm not sure if it even existed back then. I never forgot the title of the series though. Luckily a few years later there was "Mists of Avalon". I like Arthurian legends... but this Arthur was a dud. I had nearly given up... well I had given up, I had went to take a shower and when I came back (they aired the whole thing in one go) there he was: Mordred! Never one to dislike the bad guy I was almost screaming "kill Arthur"( I was a huge Jonathan Rhys Meyers fan at the time, the evil Steerpike from of Gormenghast. Unfortunately Jonny went to lose his soul to commercial TV/Movie and bad personal choice in the name of fame however, becoming nothig special. Hans never did and always has remained humble and truly talented, a trait I truly admire, even if it means we see less of him) Anyways I loved this Mordred, and this time I knew what IMDB was. I looked it up as soon as the movie was over. And then I found out that this was my Bramwell guy! I was ever so happy. Of course from there on I was hooked. My favourite is probably Half Light, simply because Hans looks so at home in the landscape. He's part of it. He seems to be hardly acting at all he just belongs. Well right up till the end of course I like evil Hans too, don't get me wrong, there is this manical glint in his eyes that is strangely attractive, and there is always such a fragility in his characters, a sort of fairy like quality like he's about to dance away. Yeah, I love Hans, and I love watching him act.
