Which version is your most favourite? Who is your "most favourite" Tess? Who is your "most favourite" Alec? (I know it's a biased question  ) Who is your "most favourite" Angel? Hans is definately the best Alec. I really did feel sorry for Alec when Tess finds him preaching he really did sound sincre about wanting to save her. Carnt believe its ended what i am i gonna do on a Sunday night now:( |

I've only seen the movie version, quite a while ago. I vividly remember the farming scenes for some reason and I think the bleakness of the turnip fields contrasted with the summer harvest scenes to demonstrate the sadness of Tess's lot.
I hadn't read the book back then so I was totally devasted by the turn of events as I recall. But I can't remember Angel at all and thought Alec was typical Victorian cad.
I'd be interested in seeing the other version - have watched a bit on Youtube and I think Angel was cuter in that version. I can't imagine Jason Flemyng (also in Tube Tales) as Alec thoug I imagine he's be pretty creepy.

What are your favourite scenes in the film ? Hm, I really like the start and the ending even though its so sad! I also like the arguement leading to Tess stabbing Alec.
Which scene give you a shiver ? When they get to stonehenge and she wakes up peacefully for the last time =[
Which scene make you "cry a river? The ending of course! Especially the BBC version when you see Tess and Angel finally having there dance!
Which scene make your blood boiled? When Alec takes Tess back home and asks for one last kiss
At which scene , you feel sorry for Alec? Feel sorry for Alec? Hm, probably the part when he sees Tess again, because he tries to mend his ways and then sees her and goes back to his old self.
