Sorry guys, I stuffed up the admin functions and lost the comments I was trying to move to a new thread in the General section. Feel free to discuss it there.
No, about Sherlock Holmes
Lots of negativity on the IMDb boards and generally around the various comment sections of the trailer sites etc. Is Guy Ritchie really that despised or is a case of one strike and you're out.
Or is it just that "different tastes" thing?

If you look closely at the trailer (2 I think is what they are using in the theaters now) you can see the room with all the smoke and Hans' back turned to camera center. Is that a gun he's messing with? perhaps.
Seems the die hard fans are less of a concern to Warner Bros than the regular movie theater public wandering out in the snow for the Christmas holidays movie entertainment. Seems the "die hards" are skeptical about "Clash" too, but really, I'm less worried about authenticity (as crazy as that seems to fictional characters, though I get the point, but frackly Doyle's vision of Holmes might not be considered blockbuster level entertainment) than competition...

"Different tastes" - This was my response regarding the beauty of HM, I did not react to the film, it was on the topic, which was deleted between me and ScarredSoul.

I FOUND HANS! Again...in the trailer. I'm not entirely sure that it's him in the room full of smoke however..and I found it online here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCEyxESYXfg @ :40 - :41 sec (his hand on the gun) And right at :46 you see him behind the old guy talking to Holmes And I saw him somewhere else but I can't remember exactly where
