Our dear friend Star's much-loved cat of 16years is havingto be put down today - chronic kidney failure is no life for a cat. you can imagine how devastated she is.
I'm sure all here on the boards join with me in our special thoughts and prayers in the loss of a special companion. hoperfully othes can say so more eloquently.
We're thinking of you, mate.

Another prayer for Star that she gets through the horrendous heat wave they're having at the moment - a record number of days over 40 degrees (that's Celsius of course) with minimum temps in the low thirties. hard enough to deal with bit when it goes on day after day it's horrid. Both Melbourne and Adelaide are really copping it.
On the bright side there's a new little feline companion Chez Star.

My mind was quite occupied with this yesterday as we have family and friends in Mexico City.
