So do you reckon Obama's speech at his nauguration will go down in history as one of the greats? The kind kids learn in school?
I sure hope he gets to achieve his objectives. I stayed up for a good part of the night to watch it - the actual ceremony was a little underwhelming but oh, what an occasion. It must have been freezing for those camped out but everyone looked so happy.

I think He is a hope for all even for people who are not American. I would have been happy to camp out for the ceremony!!!!!

It's really nice to think that people outside the US are as excited as we are about having a leader who is articulate, poetic, and a global citizen. When I was watching that speech, I did feel I was witnessing history.

I started to cry when the man read the Lords Prayer and didnt stop itll bed time, what an incredible day.If only a fraction of those plans become action we will be so much better off.We are living through amazing times and should be thankful that our futures, if folk work, are filled with promise

I completely missed the inauguration. Shame on me. I was wanting to see it, but I guess I forgot. I ought to google it actually - I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find.
Also, hello again everyone. It's been a long time since I was last here. I'd forgotten I actually had an account!
