Technically I'm not sure. It's wood, so theoretically not a Celtic penny whistle or Appalachian tin whistle (though something tells me even a tin-whistle can be found in wood) . Theoretically it's should be ancient mythological Greek, right, which I suppose made me think of Pan and his flute. I suppose it could be a whistle. American Indians play a vertically held flute, a bit like the ancient Roman instrument, but with more feathers , which is also referred to as a flute - (my Uni roommate was in an ancient music Collegium Musicum, amazing what randomness you retain) but the way Ixas was playing -- maybe whistle is a better discription...

This all made me laugh imagining you say it all for some reason and confuzzled me a little ;D My liking of Gemma Arterton is starting to trouble me a little lol

don't be troubled -- the sister site for Gemma is a serious guilty pleasure! oh Sylvia, it won't be the first time I make you laugh...I hope confuzzled either, I fear.

Can you believe I have this film on my shelf and I still haven't watched it yet. must say Hans looks very sunburnt in the stills.
