Some members of this board, past and present, have expended many hours and money building up their collections of hard-to-find Hans appearances. back in the day there was much climbing behind equipment rigging up a borrowed VCR to make copies. It's easier now.
It's testimony to the kind of people who post here that they have been very generous in sharing their findings with others.
What we hope - and probably does happen in many cases, is that you in turn share the bounty so that it isn't the same people always feeling obliged to answer those plaintive pleas. We especially hope that people can help out those in their own region - international mailing costs - not to mention laws being what they are.
Pay it forward and share the love.

I thought for a minute this was .... Hans was in Pay it Forward somewhere and then I was just gonna say where and go put in my disc right away to find him. Yeesh...I do understand the point of that though, I wish I could help and if I can lead anyone here it might work the same way? Since I'm pretty mucha nobody as far as knowing anything going on with movies or where to find them, I'm a bit SOL on that front myself unfortunately....

Hey it's a learning experience around here!
Time was I didn't even have a CD player (had to buy that to watch canone Inverso) Didn't know html or how to use ftp. Sounds like you'll be an expert too before you know it

Heheh...I can handle a little bit of html, I have no idea what ftp was and when it comes down to anything else, css scares me and I can find the best movies on Bluray and I don't have a player for it, that freakin sucks.
A CD player or a DVD player? There's days I miss having VHS

Virgil...if this is directed to my post about Canone Inverso, I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to be "secretive" for lack of a better word. I can find out where my brother found the movie. As stated, I put out questions to him and then he starts searching. If he finds them then great! But he is the one that does the downloading and copying to dvd for me. I honestly have no idea how to do it, nor do I have the time with 2 young kids. Computers is his job and LIFE and he is on them day and night programming, searching an upgrading his skills! Again...I will ask for the site and "Pay It Forward"

I did mean DVD player of course - Proof reading skills obviously need work
Sorry Jenny. Absolutley nothing to do with your posts at all, hope I didn't upset or offend. It's just something I was musing on and nothing against any one person is intended. Hope it didn't come across as bossy.
Not really necessary to even say it, most people round here are really generous and share what they can. I certainly understand if people can't make copies - I'm not much good at that myself and there is certainly no obligation on anyone to feel they must.
But people come and go. Inevitable interest wanes or more important parts of real life must take priority. I'd hate to think that Hans resources are sitting idle in someone's cupboard. I guess I'm not expressing myslef well. Just that it's great to think there are "back-up copies' of those more rare resources.
Of course with Youtube and other videosharing sites, it's not the problem it once was!
So if there'sanyone with "Family Money", "The Story Of The Costume Drama" or "Christmas" tucked away somewhere, we'd love to see it.
And does anyone know where to watch "The Future Lasts A Long Time" now that it's not on the Channel Four site?

No Virgil...I wasn't offended and if I came across crusty, I'm sorry. And...NO you didn't come across bossy! Not to worry! A bit stressed this morning. Had a huge fundraiser for my son's school. Did awesome though and made a lot of money. I would love to see some of those others and if anyone were able to get them in Region 1 format I would even pay the shipping! Would especailly love to see Mojo!
