Here in Hungary nonstop raining and flow cause serious problems. In our area many people are relocated, roads closed, firefighters, soldiers work night and day to prevent trouble.

That's no good Zita. We had a bad storms and lots of damage a couple of months ago.
Of course, now that it's winter, we have blue skies and light breezes, temps around 20 C, no rain in sight for the next week or so. Isn't weather odd?

I hope you are okay Zita, and that the rain stops soon where you are.

Here we go again! The UK has snow which means the UK comes to a standstill! I never understand why we aren't more prepared as a country. We have been forecast snow since October and it started to fall this afternoon in most of England (where I am there has only been heavy rain thus far). But I'm reading on Twitter that the gritters aren't out, people are getting asked to get off trains because they can't run. London and the rest of the country (parts that have snow) have come to a standstill yet again. Why can't England just get it right, just one year!

I'd guess if the governments, local and national, couldn't afford the necessary equipment to clear snow before the economics of the last few years, they surely can't afford to it now. That is certainly true over here

I think what's got people this year is that after being so unprepared the last couple of years the government supposedly made a point of getting more grit for the roads and more gritters out to clear the snow before it got too bad. Yet again though, our government fails.

Your government should be better. Here are some problems too, but we are prepared well against the snow.
