there's been some confusion. There was some thought that he attended the Avondale that Orlando Bloom attended. Let me cross check I thought , Hans said in his interview (Doctor Zhivago) that he attended an intensive course in this school Avondale Hall in Clapham, in southwest London... Orlando Bloom was also a student of this school. My problem is that I can not find the school on the Internet, apparently are not links ... I just found some that might be. I'm not sure whether they are correct ...

He did mention Avondale in Clapham in an interview, and the Avondale Theatre is attached to the Italia Conti Academy. Although I think it was a mistake that he and Orlando Bloom both attended there, though I haven't read up on Orlando Bloom (my TigerBeat suscription ran out when I was 14,... sorry that's a joke). I'll let you know when I get a reply to my email -- hopefully they are WAY too busy reading potential scripts to be fast about it...

That's what I recall - a very early interview mentioned Avondale Hall. That would have been early nineties - no proof that it still exists or hasn't changed names.
I think Orlando Bloom attended some other drama school - maybe Guildhall.
Someone sometime posted somewhere that they attensded the same school so it just became aninternet fact, like the whole 'born in a caravan' thing that someone posted in a guest book. Hardly proof.
I guess because both Orlando and Hans lived in Canterbury as boys, someone's made a connection and then an assumption. Who knows? Maybe they did attend the same school but I;m sure there is more than one in Canterbury.
You can't believe everything you read on the internet, that's for sure.

Thanks Gg! ;)Orlando Bloom is not too interesting for me as an actor and for me it is not important information if he and Hans attended the school together. I have some doubts about it. ;D

Change the name of the school - this would be an explanation. If so, then I got unlucky. I just wanted some information about this school from my curiosity.

I think he went to the Italia Conti Drama School in Clapham which is another name for this school.
