Did anyone else watch this series? I am eager to hear especially what anyone who has previously read the books think of the adaptation
I loved it but have yet to read the books
Oh and Richard Madden (aka Robb Stark) is Scottish! ;D

I would love to see this as it looks really good. Sadly over here in the UK "Game Of Thrones" is being shown on Sky Atlantic and I don't have this channel. Have you watched "The Borgias" which has recently been on the tv in the US?
Here in the UK at the moment there is a drama on called Camelot, which seems to be getting mixed reviews. At least on twitter anyway.

Ahhh, apologies. I did have it in my head that you were in the States. I have no doubt that the Games of Thrones books' are a very good read, but sometimes it is really nice to see medieval fantasy visually. I think I would buy this on dvd when it's released.

I'm a little behind in my watching...just watched the 1st season last week and loved it. Amazing actors in this show and the scenery is amazing. Waiting now for season 2 to arrive in the mail.
