more commentary from ComicCon Admittedly it’s hard to give a shot-by-shot description, as there was a great deal of action and many quick cuts, the reel did have plenty to offer visually. For starters, it’s immediately clear that Murro has worked to match the aesthetic of Snyder’s original, with a dark and gritty feel matched with scenes of intensity and battle. The footage also balanced a lot of its violence – of which there was plenty – with a good amount of sex and sensuality (again, similar to the first movie). It would also seem that the film will be giving us a bit of backstory about Xerxes, the character played by Rodrigo Santoro, as we see him both as the “living god” with a shaved head and jewelry, as well as with a full head of hair and a beard, presumably before he ascended to the throne. Given all of the promotional materials we’ve been seeing of late as well as the August 2nd release date, we can probably expect the first trailer to arrive soon. www.cinemablend.com/new/Gravity-300-Rise-An-Empire-We-re-Millers-More-Debut-Footage-CinemaCon-37010.html

introduction of Aeschylus of Athens, in 300 Rise of an Empire:
[Democrates] listened to a man of noble aspect reading in a clear voice from his scroll.
"Aeschylus of Athens" whispered a bystander. "He reads choruses of certain tragedies he says he will perfect and produce much later."
Democrates knew the dramatist well, but what he read was new - a "Song of Furies" calling for a terrific curse upon the betrayer of friendship. "Some of his happiest lines" meditated Democrates, walking away...

no copyright infringement intended (lest I too be cursed) Is that from the 300 script? I'm pretty sure the copyright on Democrates has lapsed Where IS that trailer? It is comely not to oppose the law, nor a prince, nor one wiser than yourself. #mynewmotto

It was pushed to March 7, 2013 last night, put in the Tom Cruise film "All You Need is Kill"s release spot, pushing that release until later in 2014. So goes the business of Hollywood. Legendary and Warner Brothers are splitting, after a very prolific relationship, so it seems the cards are falling, or the chips, or the dominoes...

The description of the character (gotten from the novelization, of the graphic novel, of the screenplay, of the film... or something like that, in whatever order - maybe the novelization of the screeenplay of the film of the graphic novel...?) does seem to point to the author being a bit of a procrasinator, yes, and as "Prometheus Unbound" has been speculated to have been finished by a ghost writer after the dramatist's death, perhaps you have conspiratorial history as well as literary allusion to back you up the theory Virg!

I'm going to have to ask for your patience guys. Though the trailer was released today and a new one sheet as well, I am evacuated due to wildfires and can't update the site until I return to life as usual. I appreciate your patience. I am able to share links, though, so enjoy
