I wonder if Susan Boyle can act. I have understood that it is a woman who has worked in theater for many years doing musicals. But, I don't know if it is ready to face a character to the big screen . anyway, it's always great news to know that we will come back to see to Hans playing a new role in a new film. We must be happy for him. ;D

I just heard about this project today. This sounds so exciting! Can't wait to see some pictures of Hans from it. All I've seen so far are pictures of Samantha Barks.

This is good news indeed - I'm sending all my positive thoughts that the production goes well and we get to see it soonish. and yes, some publicity shots wouldn't go astray

More details from IMDb THE CHRISTMAS CANDLE is a timeless and inspirational story based on the novel by bestselling author, Max Lucado. Nothing out of the ordinary ever happens in the small village of Gladbury -- except at Christmas. Legend has it that every twenty-five years an angel visits the village candlemaker and touches a single candle. Whoever lights the Christmas Candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve But in 1890, at the dawn of the modern age, all that is about to change. With the arrival of David Richmond, a skeptical, young minister, Gladbury's humble candlemaker, Edward Haddington must fight to preserve his family's legacy. When the Christmas Candle goes missing, the miraculous and the human collide in the most astonishing Christmas the town of Gladbury has ever seen. www.imdb.com/title/tt2739338/So is Hans the skeptical young minister or the humble candlestick maker?

SPOILER
“Reverend Richmond was grateful to see someone closer to his age, even more thankful to see someone so pretty. Emily’s curled brown locks fell to her shoulders. Her warm hazel eyes ducked from his glance. He looked away, equally embarrassed.” so Eponine will finally get her Marius

I LOVE IT!!!! of course I would love any comment that finds a way to harken to Still Crazy! A little clarification of that spoiler post might've been at hand. Unfortunately I was spending far too much time NOT succeeding in posting it as an invisible spoiler to consider explaining what it was that I was doing! I've read the character breakdowns, does that count? There is so much of this book available online, between google books and the author's website I think there may be only the last couple chapters that aren't available to read. My alerts are going crazy. while I am at it: the author and his wife playing extras
