So I got my copy of Canone Inverso from Ebay a few months back and was super excited to get it! It was region 1 (which is what I needed) and I was really expecting to enjoy it. And I would have...had it not had blue spots over peoples' bodies when there was nudity! Anyone else have a version like this? I considered trying to find a better copy but then decided I just wouldn't worry about it. Anyone else have this issue with this film? Also, if you have one that DOES NOT have this issue, where did you get it? I'm curious as to where to buy a good, non-edited copy for region 1 playback. (though I do have a region 2 DVD player but I'd prefer region 1)
Still, it was a really amazing film and I thought Hans was brilliant in it!

Grr - Hate it when a long post doesn't upload.
Cara, my copy of Canone Inverso is the original Italian version which looks like those on the Amazon link celticarcher posted. My copy is Region 0 (region-free) and plays on my Region 4 player without problems. You might want to check with the vendor as that region disclaimer on Amazon is possibly a default disclaimer for all DVDs.
I ordered mine from an Italian site which I believe is no longer online. It was a real leap of faith back in 2002, ordering in Italian and it was the first time I had ever bought anything online. I think I had to transfer money too as my credit card didn't work and there was no Paypal then AFAIK.
Maybe switch your browser to Italian and do a search. It's probably out of production so it will be remainders, second hand and bootleg copies available. Good luck if you decide to go ahead. It's definitely one worth re-watching.

I got all my Hans' films from Amazon.co.uk the British Amazon site. I've just typed in "Hans Matheson" into the DVD and Bluray catagory on Amazon co.uk and there are currently 93 Hans Matheson films available to buy. Canone Inverso is among them but you could also find many more Hans films you may be interested in buying. Check the region codes though as Virgil mentioned, to be absolutely sure it will play on your DVD player. And ... don't spend all your money at once Happy perusing xx
