Some of the Best Moments in Life: · To fall in love. · To laugh until it hurts your stomach. · To find mails by the thousands when you return from a vacation. · To go for a vacation to some pretty place. · To listen to your favorite song in the radio. · To go to bed and to listen while it rains outside. · To leave the! shower and find that the towel is warm. · To clear your last exam. · To receive a call from someone, you don't see a lot, but you want to. · To find money in a pant that you haven't used since last year . · To laugh at yourself looking at mirror, making faces. ) · Calls at midnight that last for hours. · To laugh without a reason. · To accidentally hear somebody say something good about you. · To wake up and realize it is still possible to sleep for a couple of hours. · To hear a song that makes you remember a special person. · To be part of a team. · To watch the sunset from the hill top. · To make new friends. · To feel butterflies! in the stomach every time that you see that person. · To pass time with your best friends. · To see people that you like, feeling happy. . To use a sweater of the person that you like and find that it still smells of their perfume. . See an old friend again and to feel that the things have not changed. . To take an evening walk along the beach. . To have somebody tell you that he/she loves you. . To laugh .......laugh........and laugh ...... remembering stupid things done with stupid friends. . These are the best moments of life.... Let us learn to cherish them. "Life is not a problem to be solved, but a gift to be enjoyed"

Hi! Actually I think we only celebrate Historical persons and the Royalfamily on their name-day. I know that some people celebrate name-days in their families and give presents and eat cake. I hope this answers your questions. Lotta Ps Happy name day Zita I hope you had a great day.

Seems I missed your name day Zita so I hope you had a lovely time - it was already tomorrow before it happened let alone before I found out!
I think it's a lovely idea but I think it only works in cultures where the name choices are limited. Here, people seem to make up names so their kid will be different from everyone else. And if the name isn't unique, then the spelling is or the pronunciation is. And of course we have names from so many cultures.

Here is also a fashion of choosing special names so there are names like Kevin, Robin, Jennifer, Isaura (!) the other extreme is giving ancient names like Jenõ - name-day on 18th November

Morning Peeps! The sun is shining 8-)and it´s warm outside In Sweden people make up names too. For example:regnbåge = Rainbow,Batman,Katt = cat etc. Some names I can´t even write here. I´m surprised that some of the names are approved but that´s just my opinion. Lotta

This is what the Dalai Lama said on 2006.all it takes is a few seconds to read and think over:
1)Take into account thet great love and great achievements involve great risk.
2)When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
3)Respect for self,Respect for others,Responsibility for all your actions.
4)Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck
5)Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6)Don't let a dispute injure a great relationship
7)When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
8)Spend sometime alone every day.
9)Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
10)Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11)Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12)A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
13)In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation, don't bring up the past.
14)Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.
15)Be gentle with thw EARTH.
16)Once a year go some place you've never been before.
17)Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for eachother exceeds your need for eachother.
18)Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
19)Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
I hope you enjoy life more and more..... :-) :-)

Hi Paradise! No this year i didn´t go to see the bonfire the kids where to tired. And to tell you the truth me too. It´s an old custom the goes back to the time when people believed in witches and evil spirits.People made big bonfires to protect themselves. I´ve just read the words from Dalai Lama. They are so true and wise. Lotta xx
