I suck. I've only seen Doctor Zhivago. But I'm sure I'll love all the others just as much.

So NOT FAIR!!! I haven't even seen five of his films! Comfortably Numb, even though I haven't seen it. Can we declare unseen-Hans'-naked-booty-in-the-shower as a favorite? Doctor Zhivago Bodywork (cuz Virgil is just too cute) Les Miserables (my first )

I left you a private message explaining myself, which I hope you can read and reply...
Who the hell am I to say what you reveal of yourself and your opinions, it's an open forumn. I in fact feel priviledged to be a part of that, and thank you for sharing your experiences. But when it comes to someone else's life, personal information, unless it is published and we know it's something they feel comfortable sharing, we're going to wait for confirmation that it is condoned.
But PLEASE, it's about respect, privacy, and not condemnation etc... and when/if the information is made public the post will be restored. You and I and most of us may be able to read everything that could be posted here free of judgement and condemnation but even in these last months there have been boards that have been effected by prejudice and intolerance. It is not about censorship so much as protection.
Sad but true.
No I will never learn to spell.

Unhappyly the only available films here in Brazil and that I attended are: "Still Crazy", "The Mists of Avalon", "Deathwatch" e "Les Misérables". My preferential list on these films is the following: 1 - Les Misérables 2 - The Mists of Avalon 3 - Still Crazy 4 - Deathwatch I would like to attend: "Canone Inverso", "I Am Dina", "Stella Does Tricks" , "Tube Tales", "Dr. Zhivago", "Confortably Numb" and "Imperium: Nero". But I think that it will be very difficult these films to be launched here in Brazil. I would like especially to see him in the film "Canone Inverso". First, because I knew that the soundtrack of this film is wonderful. Beyond the compositions made for Ennio Morricone, we can enjoy of Paganini, Bach and Dvorak. However, I also would like to see him one day interpreting Lord Byron.

What system do you use in Brazil- PAL or NTSC?
It seems difficult to get hold of Hans movies wherever in the world you are so don't despair. It's the same for all of us Easier if you understand English (or Italian)

The system used here in Brazil is NTSC.
Here in Brazil, recently in the programming of HBO (abril/2004) the series Dr. Zhivago was shown. As cinemax showed "Tube Tales". Therefore I do not understand why these films had not been launched in DVD or VHS here.
The movie "I Am Dina" still it is in the cinemas in some countries. Perhaps it is launched here in Brazil. Some of these films are available in DVD at Amazon. But, they only have audio and legends in English. I don't dominate English. I know French, Spanish and Italian. I would like to buy this DVD's, but this is always the Amazon's information:
"Encoding: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only. This DVD will probably NOT be viewable in other countries. Read more about DVD formats.)
Language: Dubbed in English
Format: Color"
These movies in DVD don't have legends in other languages? Because, in the site UnofficialHansMathesonsite, have some "screencaptures" of the movie "Stella does Tricks" and the legends that appear are in French.
I accept any help or clarifications.

Hey Beatriz, You can get a NTSC VHS (videotape) of Dr.Zhivago from the www.shoppbs.org -- if they can't do international deliveries, drop me a message and I'll be your shipping go-between Les Mis can be gotten at Amazon.com in used copies on NTSC if you don't already own it, and my offer applies for that as well. Many of us have resorted to buying international DVD players to feed our film addictions. They can be bought from a number of sources for around $100US and make film collecting much easier. Expensive, granted but easier.

Thank you for your informations! ;D
I know a person who copies the movies for the InterNet and records in his computer. However, I think that he cannot attend in his DVD player, he only can attend in his computer. Therefore, I prefer to buy the films in DVD or VHS.
I really would like to acquire these movies. I will accept your advice, perhaps if I will have some problem in acquiring some of these movies, I will enter in contact with you.
Best Regards,
Beatrix.
