May God bless and keep you always May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others And let others do for you,
May you build a ladder to the stars, And climb on every wrung
May you stay Forever young
May you stay Forever young
May you grow up to be righteous May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth And see the light surrounding you
May you always be courageous Stand upright and be strong
(and) May you stay Forever young
May you stay Forever young
May your hands always be busy May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful May your song always be sung
May you stay Forever young
May you stay Forever young

The credit most definitely belongs at the feet of Mr. Dylan. It has had double meaning for me of late, and sang to me that morning of the beautiful, sunny, August the 7th.
As threatened, I'll post this catalyst and see if it goes anywhere.
In these last weeks I've had the help of the beautiful poetry of the "absolute campanion's" singer, Leonard Cohen, as I waded my weary way through challenge and loss. I read something (well, quite a few things) that I thought I'd throw up here.
This is a scenario I thought would be interesting to pose, as it askes us to examine what has brought us here, why we stay, and what it says about who we are. It brings the theoretic/virtual world we inhabit here, into a actual setting and askes what we would do and say. It is not so much about the object, as it is about ourselves, and could be catalyst to share with each other something about ourselves that can't be revealed by a questionaire. I would ask that, as usual, we respect ourselves, Hans and each other, try to keep from the obvious superficial/romantic/sexual, if for no other reason because 50 women saying the same thing repeatedly doesn't really reveal anything about us except the level to which our hormones run our mouths... let us remember it is a monk who wrote these words. And what we have repeatedly shown each other is that, at our best, we are humourous and human.
Funny is good -- I love my life best when I'm not taking it all too seriously...
The Psalm offers a follow-up, but I'll save his answer to this for a moment when, if everyone seems to have had their turn (if anyone shoses to take one)...
"faces of women appeared and explained themselves to him, connecting feature to character, beauty to kindness. Various families came to him and showed him the chairs he might sit in" #11, Leonard Cohen
Hans is sitting in the grass with a cat on his lap, he is quiet, thinking -- you approach him

Hans is sitting on the grass with a cat on his lap,he is quiet thinking.........I would go over ask can I please pet your cat???Then I would start chatting to the cat asking its name, telling it about Benny my own cat,and the kittens next door, then tease and flatter a little bit, saying things like "I know who your tallented Daddy is,I likes him but dont like strawberrys "then Id praise Tim Spall who played in still crazy cos Iv watched him since I was a kid, when I talk to my cat I call kisses Beep beeps :-[so i would end beeping em both on the cheek and run away as fast as i could Steven at work said if he were to describe me in one word it would be tease but its done with a light heart cos more than anything I do like laughter and a bit of fun,and Dee thinks the only time Im not excited is when Im sleeping ;D
