Your next trip to Prague

I just found this site that lists some of the filming locations for "Les Miserables" and "Canone Inverso" so you can check them out when you make your Prague pilgrimage.

Of course "Mists of Avalon", "Deathwatch" and "Doctor Zhivago" were also filmed all or partly in Prague, but Mists was mostly filmed inside a huge skating rink ? and Deathwatch in a paddock out of town

Paddock? do you guys know that word?

Hello from Prague!

I was just in Kutna Hora yesterday, and as a matter of fact I lingered near the cathedral where some of Les Mis was filmed. I imagined Hans¨trip as he took the train from Prague - what a beautiful ride, by the way. It just about killed me to know I was in the exact location where he once was. I¨m obsessed, I can¨t help it!

I can¨t really say enough about this city - I am at home and for the most part, at ease here after three weeks. I do not know of the skating rink yet, but it is now on my list!

Now, if only Hans will contract to shoot another movie here...

Try making friends with someone in the film office -- they are your best bet for finding everything (and everywhere) you want to see, when it comes to location shooting, past and present.
