What should I say? I know, do my poor translation from bad English is hard nut. Sorry, what I meant was where did Hans say that he didn't like wearing a kilt? Small linguistic misunderstandings. It's just my presumption. But in general - he wears a kilt really sporadic.

The only picture we have of Hans wearing a kilt is the one that was published in the newspaper and appeared on their online version, at Laurence Fox's wedding. So that's the best we can do - presumably Laurence and Billy have better version but haven't offered them.
Kilts aren't really everyday wear these days, even in Scotland. So, yes, it's a shame there aren't more pictures of Hans in a kilt but it's hardly surprising and no indication of his opinion of kilts. Most pics of Hans not in costume he is wearing jeans.

I don't wonder this. Scots worn kilts mainly on ceremonial occasions. This is tradition.

I've been through 11 pages and wow there's a lot of really nice pictures, photogalleries and everything else, though I found a lot of broken links in the first few pages too...
On one hand, what's up with the scarf thing...I'm not sure what to think about that one...

They certainly are not diverted away nothing. I discovered this page to year 2006. Great shame.

You are meaning broken links on this thread of the message board I assume? I think you will find they probably lead ( or would lead but don't ) to sites or pages which have expired, or someone has deleted their account at one of the photo sharing sites. I know a former contributor, Robin, has deleted a lot of her threads and accounts, so those links won't work. You want pics?, why not investigate the galleries at:- Hans Matheson Online Hans Matheson Appreciation SocietyThe Zhivago GalleriesWith the exception of fan art and icons to be found at other sites such as Han Matheson Icon Stillness, I wouldn't think there's many more pics of Hans out there. This thread is really for the latest pics which haven't found their way onto the main site yet, or for people to post their 'finds', because there are always new/old things popping up. Welcome to the site. We look forward to a fresh perspective on things Hans-related.

Thank you! I've actually been looking for some pictures of him now that you mention it, if you venture into the photoshop fun, I've got a few characters of him that I write about (it's not exactly what they look like but it's d**n close to the mental image I've got in my head) and finding variation, you'd think it'd be easy. Apparently not. At least he's not Swedish *shakes head* Anyhoo...as far as the kilt...I have never found anything attractive about a man in a kilt EVER! I don't like them....And I've seen some really attractive men in them and the kilt immediately makes me think to the summers at the Scottish Games and old men wearing them...*shudder* I can't ever look at them in a good light. Only thing I thought of when I saw the tartan colors Hans was wearing though was that when I traced my family back, my colors and pattern was the same color. Now that would be weird, my girlfriend has relation to David Tennant... I've got a question...that's more of an observation than anything else...I noticed this earlier when I was looking through the pictures (god knows why that was the first thing that jumped out at me but anyhow) ....Not all of his buttons are done up completely.... I actually have a pair of pants like that and they're hard to keep closed but it's still a little...shiny.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed...
I was scrolling through the pictures and stopped, scrolled back up and then down again, up and down and just blinked and sort of snickered. Never pleasent when you're just someone in a restaurant or something but I can't imagine being an actor and having a slip that's immortilized in pictures until you're dead.
On another note, I'm having a hard time believing he's only 33. I always thought he was older...

Hans checked the power when it comes between people, I think. I am still in the mirror before going out somewhere. ;D Hans' age - it's special, Hans looks like in some movies older and other films is younger than in reality. For me, yes. I think it depends on the make-up and costumes. All the actors look older in the movies generally. They look better in real life. Also look younger or to its age. Most of them. Camera distorts. And actors adds pounds. In this dog is buried.

I am a great stickler for detail, I will confess without torture. But still - I do not have the weakness of the crotch of men's trousers.

Surely they had the film's PR there and she/he didn't seem to be too worried. During those kind of appearances there is generally a publicist or PR person just getting everybody prepped, fielding the exercise, checkng it our from the photographers angle... reminding you to suck in your gut (inside joke there; sorry to anyone who wasn't around last year at this time).
After all girls it's just a woggy button fly... not exactly a profound costuming malfunction. I think he may be more embarrassed by the "running naked through the wilderness" scene in Bathory.
Now that so much production is moving away from 35mm film and towards HD you can see every pimple, every flaw -- never before needed so tough a skin a an actor.

I must admit I did notice it, but never thought anything of it. It's not as if anything is on show, buttons are a bit of a pain.
