IS HANS TALL?

well I have no clue, he once subtly said he's not very huge but I can't give the exact quote to be honest... 5'9" sounds good to me though - that exactly my height *lol*

OKAY!!! I give. I must admit the psychology of this inquiry makes me curious..... every year we get this question -- or a thread -- debating the height issue. Where in lies the curiousity??? Is this a, "how would we look standing together" kind of question? Do we still harbor short-men prejudices? Would height truly stand in the way of -- anything??? This is why we have apple-boxes!!! This question always makes me smile

I think that probably is the reason for the question. As for the "short men" thing, I don't see 5'9 as short. It's a good height. I don't like it when only come up to men's armpits (like my best friend who's 6'5). It's an uncomfortable position to be in.

I was sure there was another thread on this topic because it certainly is a perennial one, as Gigi stated. But not here. Like the "Where Does he Live" and "Does he have a girlfriend?" perennials, fans just get curious and want to know.

But I think there comes a time in your Hans watching when you suddenly realise that he s actually smaller than you first thought so there's an element of surprise and I suppose for some, disappointment. Many actors are quite small and smalle than people realise.

There's a biological imperative here - we all want a guy who can protect us ( and notice how the really big guys go for really tiny girls?) I suppose what you think of as tall varies according to where you live but 176cm is the statistical average for a Caucasian male.

And I could syill get away with a not-too-high heel. So there

Well me wanting to know is, I guess, a matter of having met actors in person and having been surprised by their height! Orlando Bloom is taller than he looks, Colin Farrell is shorter than he looks... but then again I am tall for a girl, so maybe Colin isn't all that short I don't know. But that's why I was curious.

I know that this is an old question, but according to several people who were as compars during the filming of Bathory, and they met personally with Hans, everyone said that Hans is not very high ..
I was in years 2006 and 2007 in contact with several people who met with Hans. He is small and very matchstick, he has a relatively gentle face / apparently is sweet, girls / and measured from 170 cm up to 172 cm, so it is small. IMDb site states that he is 174 cm high, but I think that this is too much. According to the responses of people who saw him in real he is less than 174 cm.

Each highly praised him during the filming of Bathory, he behaves like a true professional and is cool.
