Oh my God those are amazing pictures! The two of them really look wonderful together. Better than I expected. I love the one where she's behind him and he has that beautiful sweater on. Will this one be up for debate for the "Best chemistry with female costar" thread? Oh, and hey...how come he looks so much taller than she does? That can't be right, can it?

Yup, that looks about right! Didn't think GI Jane was that tiny!

Virgil, gotta hand it to you, you (and all of your contributors have done an amazing job at keeping things up to date! How DO you stay so together, LOL! I'm looking forward to this new movie. Do you think working with Demi Moore will have an affect on how well known he is (since she is such a well known actress?) BTW, sorry if this has already been covered. Just curious of what others think.

That's a tough one, with it going straight to video, I'd be surprised if it got a lot of attention, with or without Demi Moore. On the other hand, has anyone noticed the number of viewers on these message boards? They've skyrocketed! 1700 viewers? We never had numbers like that before. A lot of Demi fans are obviously curious about Hans. Seemed like all the excitement about him playing Dr Zhivago and becoming famous...well, it didn't happen here in the US...although the interviewer in Virgin Queen said playing that role made him "soar to stardom"...is he getting quite well known in the UK? Which brings up the deeper question, which has often been thrown around on this board: do we want him to?

"Which brings up the deeper question, which has often been thrown around on this board: do we want him to?"
LOL, good point! Here's a question (though not sure if this is the thread to post it:-) Kiera Knightly is getting a ton of press and has really become quite well known (although I suppose the big name movies released in the US would account for that!) I saw in an article somewhere about Dr. Z being such a "breakout" role for Hans, yet I don't hear anything about him. Is he more well known in other countries? It's bugging me that I can't remember where I saw that. I can say that seeing Nero on the shelves of the local Blockbusters was quite exciting to me! I'm wondering if Half-Light will go to big name stores as well. Not too much longer to wait!:-)

Let's try and keep this thread to a discussion of "Half Light", rather than Hans Level of fame.
As to whether it will lead to greater exposure, I would say yes and no. Seems fame, aprticularly in the US which is how you are defining it, is measured in terms of dollars. A movie you are in makes hundreds of millions of dollars, your name is attached to it = you get to be famous for a while.
"Half Light" is obviously not going to do that. However, if "Nero" gets to be on the Blockbuster shelves, I'm sure "Half Light" would. And with Demi Moore's name, and face, on the cover, people are going to rent it. And quite a few of them are going to like it, it's not a bad movie. I really liked it. These days straight to video doesn't necessarily mean it's a stinker, it just means commercially risky - ie foriegn, largely unknown castand director etc.
And I can say that hits on Hans Matheson Online have trebled over the last two months . Maybe that's partly down to "Virgin Queen" but most visitors are hitting the Half Light pages, etc. I'm sure it will get some publicity in the DVD magazines etc.
As to what that might mean for Hans career, well that's discussion for another thread.

Absolutely stunning pictures! That closeup has to be one of the best so far! And in each shot, it's pretty much up for grabs who has the better hair I dare say, Hans, in a few of them.

The new pics you've got up in the Half Light gallery are just amazing. As 2005 has been quite possibly the worst year of my life, seeing these really brightened my day. Thanks.

I've set up the spoiler thread so those who've seen the movie can discuss freely - others be warned.
But where is everyone?
I've heard some places haven't received their shipments as of last week, so don't forget to ASK. Ask everywhere and spread the word of its existence. And if you enjoyed it, remember the power of word of mouth. You don't even have to out yourself as a Hans fan!

Thank you so much - I hope so, too. I honestly don't think I could cope with another year like 2005. Sigh.
