There seems to be a new trailer released, presumably for the UK release in June. www.thehollywoodnews.com/article/23030615.phpIt doesn't have the fast editing that the Video detective site one did but is if anything, more spoilerish. More Hans too! And there's another variation of the Hans and Demi at the top of the lighthouse picture, too.

Oh, I saw that link! But I didn't click on the trailer. Assumed it was the same one.

Just saw an ad for Half Light, which will be available on Pay-Per-View for those of us who have Direct TV here in the US. Pretty cool, Hans!

So Half Light premieres in the UK next month. I wonder if cinemas are displaying posters, showing the trailer etc. Any sign of promotion yet, oh Brit fans?
On a bright note, here in Aus I notice that all the major cinema chains have Half Light on their schedules. Maybe a Hans movie will make it to a megaplex near me. It's all I ever asked for

Which megaplex? Is it a Greater Union, a Wallis or a Hoyts?

Greater Union AND Hoyts have it on their Coming Attractions list starting July 20th. Also Werribee 10, wherever that is. Never heard of Wallis, that's not around these parts.

I saw that too. Guess they didn't care for his acting though. Otherwise, I pretty much agreed with it.

That movie, to date, is my favorite. Just the scenery and the music alone is beautiful. Glad they are coming out with the soundtrack to Half Light in July.

Some info here about the extras on the UK version of the DVD including this extract A 15 minutes featurette that consists of interviews with the director, producer and the cast which includes Demi Moore and Hans Matheson. Interestingly, Matheson admits that it was great riding a horse along the beach with Demi Moore at the back in one of the scenes. Who wouldn't?
And from this South African site an extract from the production notes Actor Hans Matheson who plays Angus the lighthouse keeper who develops a bond with Rachel, embraced the wild weather conditions wholeheartedely, "My family are from Scotland and that kind of weather inspires me and lights my heart, because there's something so amazing about the sea when it's so wild and when the wind's blowing in that way". Matheson auditioned for Half Light in LA but was happy to swap the permanent sunshine for the wildness of Wales, "I was in LA for three days and just thought it was too sunny in every way for me. I couldn't see myself being there for long - I couldn't wait to put my rain coat back on, so when I landed back home it was raining and I found myself smiling. I love the sun too, but I need the seasons. I think the weather must have been difficult for Demi at first, but she's a strong person and I think she loved being out there in the end - the wild west coast of Wales made a change from LA". And this! Casting the male lead opposite Moore also needed delicate balance, as Michaels explains, "We tested a number of actors, then flew Hans Matheson to LA where we tested him with Demi. Craig and I just looked at each other and we knew that was it. Demi was thrilled. I think Hans is a big movie star waiting to happen". Poor man's Orlando Bloom indeed
