I saw the second part of yesterday, finally. That was for me the tv premiere. I saw a second comprising only in English before. Then I did not know all the words. Now I first listened to Czech dubbing. This film is much liked me. Especially the second part of the story. Hans as Mordred was excellent. He was deft knight on horseback and also handy swordsman. He was be like a young sapling. He sports in the past somehow? He should be gymnastics or athletics? Quite interested to me.

Just wanted to say, The Mist of Avalon has been uploaded (the whole movie) in Youtube in the channel of historygirl23 This is where I first saw (the whole of) Mists of Avalon, and I enjoyed it. But then I've always had a fascination for the legend of King Arthur and Merlin etc.

-- and it still just pisses me off (isn't that pretty) that some lovely artist took all this time to paint, what looks like from the peak we get, a pretty elaborate, yet delicate, tattoo all over Mordred's chest in the final battle seen and you barely get to appreciate it. Gg you have the eyes of an eagle! If I hadn't known where to look I wouldn't have spotted it. To me it looked like dirt, and I had to use zoom and slow motion to identify it as a tattoo. I definitely remembered though the crow's-feet tattoo which I found very smart.

chanced upon the mists of avalon in my country's media library. Unfortunately it was restricted viewing though i was way above 21 and was asked to provide documentation that i needed to view it for school project purposes? ?? I'm two years older than hans even!!!! So fed up. But thank God in end, I found whole movie in youtube and was greatly pleased with hans performance as Mordred. My favourite scene is when he was told he is the bastard son of the incestuous relationship between King Arthur and his half sister Morgaine. And also the part where he confronts the king who is actually his father. In the movie, i thought the Lancelot seem to like the king too much...gay??? Its is wonderful production.

I thought that was a bruise or something...I actually didn't think that much about it...I'd say that's a fake one though, I know Mordred's got several markings all over him, believe me I've paid enough attention to him by now...so those are pretty much not Hans'
The expression on his face when he's told who's son he is is just about priceless. I love the movie, though I just want to strangle Gwynoffar (or whatever) she's just down right annoying, I hate her. In general I hate her but she's terrible in the movie. And Lancelot and Arthur just make such a cute couple
I have one problem with Mordred and Hans playing him in Mists of Avalon and I don't know if anyone has noticed this...but how old is Mordred supposed to be? Morgaine said he's coming of age, that would mean like teens, MAYBE 20s right? So why in the world would you go for an actor who looks about the same age as the woman who's supposed to be playing his mother? The age always looked wrong to me...
I mean he's still an amazing actor and it's not like it's really changed anything but still...it looks a little weird...

;D Lancelot was not gay. Just was too loyal to the king.

I do not know how to be an old Mordred. I never read a book The mists of Avalon. I am fine with regard to the age of the characters and actors. For me the overall impression is an important film and acting actors.
