Thank you so much, Virgil!! I think Cohen is a musical geniuos because his songs look like poems. I read there's a documentary about Leonard named I'm your man and people like Bono, Nick Cave and Rufus Wainwrigth recorded his songs for the film and the respective soundtrack... I share you these song: www.4shared.com/file/5128789/b9b29c83/leonard_cohen_-_im_your_man.html

Heard on the radio that Leonard Cohen is going on a big world tour this summer and is heading to Europe. His dates are on his website. www.leonardcohen.com/

No...He's only playing in driving distance for me next week, which right now, my schedule is too crazy to fit in a concert! Would be good though!

For which date Jenny? He is playing several in Canada from what I've seen of his tour dates.
I wouldn't mind going to the London concert, but in all honesty, I've never even heard of "Mercedes-Benz World", let alone know where it is.

Maybe his concert in the UK is at a car dealership. Nice little intimate affair with him sitting behind a beautiful Benz convertable!! Don't even know if they make those....a little out of my league! (Sorry...I'm a little giddy tonight...I think it's the prospect of a full moon!) ;D
The venue would be the 19th at a Hockey Arena. The last time I went there was for the Juno's (Canadian Music Awards)...9 years ago! Ugh...now I'm starting to feel old! Where does the time go? It was okay. I prefer intimate venues - smaller theatres. But Cohen on home turf I'm sure requires a bigger stage!

Maybe his concert in the UK is at a car dealership. LOL....Quite possibly. In the interest of being different that would be...well, different. I agree with you on the smaller venue preference. The artist & audience interaction is so much more enjoyable at smaller venues! I can't remember the last time I went to a big venue to see a concert.
