I bought Tube Tales on DVD a while back, but couldn't watch it because VLC didn't want to play with me. But I was finally able to see it just last week, and I really enjoyed it. I watched the entire series of films from beginning to end rather than giving into temptation and going straight to Steal Away, so I was rather pleased to see that out of all the short films his role was probably the most substantial. And it was quite a good story - one of my favourite things he's done (that I've seen).

No, well normally I use VLC, but it just doesn't like this DVD. Luckily I have an old region free player, which I ended up having to dig out of storage just so I could watch this.

I bought Tube Tales when buying as many Hans' DVDs as possible and watched it from beginning to end, although I did have a little peak at the interview when checking to see that it worked. I thought Steal Away was easily the best on the DVD, not just because Hans was in it either. I really liked Don Warrington in it and the man who was washing the feet, the whole thing was just really moving. Nice twist at the end as well.

I catched Steal Away from Youtube and I love it!  It's a great story with a sorpresive end. I liked so much. |

There's a couple of interviews with Hans on the region 2 DVD. He talks about his character and says he's a good guy and "If he did burgle your house, he wouldn't take your CD collection, he might take your television and your video but he wouldn't take your CD collection." Which really made me laugh.

The short is one of my favorite of his performances. If you find the DVD doesn't have extras, please let me know so we can get you those as well. Most do though.

Does Hans actually say in his interview extras that his character is a good guy and if he did burgle your house, he wouldn't take your CD collection?
Odd. I've watched the Hans interviews on this DVD too, but nowhere in them does he say that about his character.

Cat, there are I remember 3 extras, in which Hans is featured with short interviews. You have to watch all the extras.

OK, I checked, if what I said is correct. It was a bit late and it's been some time that I watched this DVD. This is really tricky, the menu not clearly arranged, laid out like a map as it is. HM interviews are in - Tube Tales Featurette
- Cast and Crew (at the very end)

I only watched those interviews at first too Cat, then I found the ones Brooke has mentioned, it's on the second set he says it.
