I think I have mentioned already, that I have lots of old (mostly film and music) magazines. I had several subscriptions in the past, because that was a nice combination of feeding my interests and expanding my vocabulary in English. Now by pure chance I've stumbled upon a 10 page feature about Tube Tales in an old Vanity Fair (UK edition), each of the 9 stories with its own page. To think, that was sitting more than 10 years stored away in my cupboard and I wasn't aware of it. It's nice though to know, that there is always something "new" to discover. Scarredsoul uses this picture of Hans in her avatar, but I don't think I have seen it elsewhere on HMOnline.  |

I just watched "Steal Away" on youtube. Now that I read this thread though and know about these extra features I am totally going to buy the DVD now,  I really enjoyed the short and thought it was a really cool story. I admit I was a bit confused and thought Michael was more of an angel at first before I saw him ascending in the elevator. Really clever twist ending there. Also, I watched another short from TUBE TALES called "Mr. Cool" and I noticed that Kelly Macdonald who played Stella in STELLA DOES TRICKS was in it. Just thought that was a neat little connection, Also, I am in love with Hans' coat that he wears in "Steal Away". |
