I went to see SH today. What can I say that hasn't already been said about this film in this thread. The plot jumps and twists that I did lose interest about half way through. Not the best thing I've seen Hans in, but it's enjoyable enough I guess!

A masonic ceremnony with a twist. The real Masons are a philanthropic order comprising stalwarts of the establishment. I just finished Dan Brown's book "The Lost Symbol" It was a typical Dan Brown book...a good yarn, but as usual he does embellish on the Masonic rituals and pretty much everything else. It did give me a better understanding of Freemasonry and it's history and some insight into the reasons for their "secrecy." It was fun to read!

That's so great. I saw it on here and then naturally had a Facebook post from my friend who is as obsessed with RDJ as I am with Hans. He deserves it.

Congrats to Mr Downey Jr on getting a golden globe. As for the SH film, I'm trying to decide on whether to go & see it again. I might be less critical & enjoy it alot more if I watch it for a 2nd time!

I was considering going to see SH again but I didn't really enjoy it all that much the first time. And as much as it is great to see Hans on the big screen I just don't think I could happily spend another £7. Although saying that I will naturally buy the DVD when it comes out!

It's not the same of course -- you can skip to the scenes in a DVD. More economic both financially and temporally I suspect!

Of course! Seeing as I would skip the first half of the movie and pick up from where oh what's his name Lord Coward arrives!
