The release didn't specify but COTT's numbers as good as thet've been, wouldn't it be nice if it was released wide and nobody had to wait. It actually took 72% of the box office business in Russia its first weekend, 11.8 million, there. In Japan, SHERLOCK Holmes was still at #6 last week.

Ha, i was able to take advantage of my opportunity to add to opening night figures for COTT in Tokyo - right in the heart of Shinjuku, in 3D. Can't say it's going to be among my favourite Hans films, though. It wasn't so BAD, I just think it could have been so much better. Maybe that rumoured Director's Cut... I guess it's too much to hope that the deleted scenes may have some Hans scenes. No doubt the alternate endings are Hans-free And. apparently, a sequel has been green-lit. WHY? Apparently without director Louis Leterrier. And, of course, there'll be not Ixas I guess. So is it of any intrest to us?? hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2010/04/28/clash-of-the-titans-director-out-of-sequel/An international director? What's that? Louis Leterrier (French) isn't?

The version they're releasing initially is the standard version.
I'm still holding out for Aslan - hey it worked for James MacAvoy!!!
Apparently you make HULK and COTT and Hollywood decides you belong to them - maybe he sold his soul, accent be d**ned!

I saw the movie a few days ago, after reading a lot of bad critics of the movie everywhere!! I decide to see it only because Hans appeared there. Well, the point is: I don't know if I'm being subjective, but Sam Worthington, with the due respect, didn't like me at all!! I didn't like his character. Ixas was the personage more cute of all the movie, simpathic, funny, protective and honorable (I mean, shouldn't be this the characteristic of the "hero", the protagonist?). For me, the movie must to finish when Ixas died, hehe! It's more, I almost leave the cinema room, but my brother stopped me and said me: "Sit down, be quiet and SHUT UP!" Yes, yes, I know, I know ... I'm being too much subjective! ;D

You made a good point Costanza
In a way, Ixas is a bit like Hawkstone in Deathwatch- a bit cynical and smart alecky but loyal and protective of the young, imexperienced member of the group.
(I think that's Hans himself coming through in an underwritten role)

Just for saying something... I just saw the promotional photo the film (in detail), and thirdly appears Hans! When I went to the cinema I thought it was Mads Mikkelsen, hehe! I was very hurry to enter and see Hans. That speaks highly of the reputation of Hans and his fame...

People in the UK can now pre-order Clash of the Titans from HMV.com. The release date is 26-7-10 and the price is £11.99 at the moment but will more than likely change knowing them. If you do pre-order and the price goes down they only charge the lowest price. It's just 1 disc and doesn't have any information about any extras yet.

I think I will wait, sometimes you can buy it cheaper in the first week of its release, if you shop around.
